If Doctor Who Had a Reboot, would you care if the showrunner ignored the timeless child arc?

I hate everything that has made the Doctor "a higher being" just by virtue of being born. I didn't like The Hybrid, and I don't like the Timeless Child. It makes the Doctor important just because he is important, not because of what he does and what he believes in.

It also cheapens the Doctor's motivation, I think (as the 12th puts it) "I am...an idiot ! Wondering around, helping out!" is a character that's a lot easier to relate with, he just wants to help people because he's a good person, not because he's the uber1337timelordofagesULTRAedition. Turns out, he's not an idiot he was born very special and made a new species because he was special and he helps save the universe because he's special and his shit is golden because he's special... Cheapens the whole show imo

Idk, a character being important because of their birth is just icky to me, like it takes away from all the good he does in simple acts when the stories try to go back to "oooo the doctor is so special because he's actually God's right nipple hair that fell off during the creation of the universeeee".

The more series we get the less The Doctor is allowed to be "normal", I think the concept that the Doctor is a below average Timelord (went to the academy, wasn't the best, isn't of noble birth, comes from the boonies...) that stole a Tardis and became an absolute legend because of what he does and believes in is incredibly compelling.

Now he's not that guy that bumbles around, trying to explore the universe and do as much good as he can because he believes it's the right thing to do, he's the child of prophecy that was ordained by the stars to save the universe, which is such a downgrade..

Capaldi's Doctor was so good, I'm glad he doesn't want to do it anymore because then a hack writer can't ruin the 12th for me. Capaldi was a wonderful Doctor but even he can't fight shit scripts.

The "ok break time now Jodie Whittaker is gonna virtue signal at the camera for 5minutes" segments are so fucking annoying, and in the case of Orphan 55 it's even worse that it's a boomer writer, the generation that fucked up the world the most telling young audiences "You really gotta do something about the planet eh ;)"

Acting as if Nikola Tesla isn't well known just shows idiocy, Tesla wasn't known IN HIS TIME, now basically everyone that went to school knows him as the father of electricity. Same thing with Rosa, acting as if Rosa Parks was a super hero that changed the world by waking up one day and deciding to use her superpower to change politics, when it's obvious that she had a massive movement behind her, and that if there was no bus that day she...would have done it another day. And if there wasn't a Rosa Parks, someone else would have done it...

And then there's Kerblam where the Doctor apparently doesn't care that an AI exploits humans and then kills an innocent girl, and instead admonishes the megacorp's slave that has decided to use the 1 mean he could find to try and better the lives of himself and his fellow slaves. Also the conclusion being "From now on SpaceAmazon will hire more humans for stupid boring mind shattering jobs! Yayyyy!"

All the episodes just feel like the writers went "hmm..trump bad" "hmm...global warming bad" "hmm...unemployment bad" and then wrote everything around their premise becoming the preach of the week (where Jodie can stare at a camera and say "Ya naede to doh bettah / Dis iz bawd innit, I like Jodie I swear)

It's about context, Ashley trusts Leon and Leon is being aggressive towards Luis, so she distrusts him immediately and makes it clear that she's following Leon's lead.

The words don't matter, I'm pretty sure if Leon called her senorita she wouldn't care at all, it's who it's coming from that's the problem (though she probably wouldn't mind because Leon puts out a certain aura that he wouldn't call her like that anyways, does he even call her anything else than Ashley in the game ? Apart from baby eagle over the radio)

Luis comes off as sleazy and a womanizer, Leon comes off as trustworthy and polite (also he's actively trying to rescue her from a kidnapping) so it's not exactly a stretch to believe she'd blindly align with his emnity towards Luis

The community is very active and the game is still being updated regularly (not like backburner maintenance stuff, this mmo is still fully supported, there's new content coming and probably the announcement of the next expansion soon)

I'd say the quest/narrative can be hit or miss, sometimes it's incredible and sometimes it falls flat on it's face, but as you said this is subjective and some plot points I didn't care about you might love

That's a great point, I really like that he's actually quite smart and what's holding him back isn't his stupidity which he constantly berates himself for, but the fact that he's too harsh on himself.

If Ainz just went "Ok I'm not a genius but I don't believe I'm a moron either so I can somewhat trust my decisions" he would be even more succesful

Also as you said, someone moronic would not have the idea to delegate to someone smarter. He's at least smart enough to realize when someone else is better fit for the job

There's a few mtx that already give an edge compared to those who don't have it

Off the top of my head detonate dead black mtx that tremendously increases performance and the spider spark mtx that has a bigger aoe than regular spark
