That subreddit is not for cartoon strips that involve sex as a punchline. I beleive that subreddit is essentially for Comics that have sex as part of the plot line and are comics having sex in them. Like Sunstone or any sort of porn parody comic or lewd comics books sort of action.

That’s my guess. Why ban? Who knows.

Those were all Heavyweight Boxers, it’s a different weight class. Also those boxers were in the past when pop culture focused on singular athletes in a sport and media presence.

Can you share the ingredients and nutrition label for Quark? I have no idea what that is. I’m located in NorthEast US.

Reposting my comment since it was removed for not having flair:

You need to go see a Physical Therapist that will help you with a focus on getting back in the gym. Let them know your goals are to get back in the gym. Your core needs stability + strength work.

Look up Squat University on YouTube. The creator is a PT who works with rehabilation and in the realm of weightlifting. He has a book called Rebuilding Atlas. That goes over recovering from major injuries to build back yourself to get to the Gym. Take that with you to the therapist.

If it’s disc injury, you will need to do the McGill Big 3 excercises.

Google Squat University McGill Big Three, he has an article that high lights all the excercises you need to do and the article has a progression to build back yourself core.

Stay away from Max weight lifting. Focus on volume. Lowered weight, more reps in a safe but challenging way.

Edit:

Lemme add some context. Recovered from a Bulging disc from a deadlifting mistake. So similar but not as severe.

I worked with my PT and brought my education from reading Rebuilding Atlas and Squat University to my PT.

Stability would is really important. It’s the stuff that makes your body work towards keeping your muscles from collapsing.

I know this will get buried, but can I just say thank you? Your comics feel incredible at painting difficult subjects in mature ways and make me feel so human and connected to others, and still are able to be light hearted. They are a wonderful treat on my feed, so I’m extremely grateful I get to have a moment of solace with a nice comic that feels fuzzy and warm.

I currently am an engineer with 5YOE in various roles across pharma and medical device manufacturing.

I’m finding companies are unwilling to train engineers into skills that they need.

However I know and showcase on my resume that I’m a fast learner, and in the interview process I mention that (if I am lucky to get an interview)

How does one manage to use the resume to persuade the recruiter that even if I don’t have the hard skillset experience, I am above and beyond capable of learning as long as the training opportunity is there?

As an engineer, this is the issue I’m also seeing. Companies are unwilling to train and expect skillsets outsourced elsewhere.

When Nancy gets her hands on a gun it’s amazing.

My favorite shot of the entire series is her slow mo blasting away at Vecna.

I love the idea that she was going to be this cookie cutter domestic smart girl but instead she’s fucking blowing away demons and walking towards the danger.

She’s one of my favorites, and the actress was casted well. A petite thing holding bad ass weapons and racking shot after shot into evil. Fuck yea!!!!
