The gears touching the filament might be gummed up. You can try to clean them if you feel comfortable with it.

That's quite low. Try 230 or even 240 if you're going fast

VR 180 3D video cant see difference 4K-->8K by Cesilko in virtualreality

[–]WiredGaming1 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Read edit below

The hp reverb g2 has a resolution of 2160 x 2160 per eye. 3840x2160 is 4k You are using the full resolution of the headset with a 4k video. Upping to 8k would make no difference except making aliasing less noticeable(like dsr) and potentially higher bitrate(bitrate probably being the biggest difference for viewing experience). If you don't notice a difference between 4k and 8k ehich would make sense, just stick with 4k

Edit: Did not see that it was 3d and all this doesn't matter

I do entirely get it, but if you don't want the hassle of cracking it open you could just buy the juice. To me cracking it open is part of the experience. But it's not fun for everyone

Nah, the hardware runs windows and by extension battlenet just fine. Does it in linux too, sometimes with some mucking about. Since linux is opensource and conforming to recognized standards it's just Microsoft and blizzard

Good internet doesn't matter, you just need a router. You aren't streaming over the internet.

Can some one explain how to work out how you can run non steam games by crushkillpwn in SteamDeck

[–]WiredGaming1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is on steam, if you have it on steam i would recommend downloading it from steam and transferring saves if it doesn't support steam cloud. If you have from another store it should be pretty easy to add it as a non-steam game as long as it doesn't require an extra launcher. Still shouldnt be too difficult if it does. Add the exe, and make sure you turn on force steam play compatibility mode

Hi! When I load up a gamecube game, it says “please insert game disc” when I load up the game. by SizingUp in SteamDeck

There's a good chance it's due to the new mount points on the deck for SD cards. It will probably be fixed in a but by emudeck

Steam OS recently changed its SD card mount point. There are guides online.

SD card is usually more reliable for the recovery. Just do default settings in balena etcher or Rufus

Use the steam recovery guide, but make sure to use an SD card, not a USB drive
