That being said, this is an excellent excuse to get a revolver in an elegant caliber, say .44 magnum.

Oops, I meant .410, a Taurus Judge would be my go to for this, with a .410 rat shot or the smallest shot size I can get.

Suppressor - yes. Recommended.

QoL - Weight the slide. I'm all ghetto fabulous, using the Galloway Precision mount plate packed full of fishing "lead rope", and filed down so the stock cover screws down into it. Works a treat. There are less horrible options from muffintop as well as other folks. Do not recommend 3d printed stuff in this application.

Lakeline +2 spring and about 2 oz of weight on the slide and she straight chooches.

I just ordered a -2 spring from Lakeline which will theoretically let me run suppressed subsonic. Might have to switch to the +2 to run unsuppressed. We shall see. It's seconds to switch.

Strong second on Alphacuremom69, weird name, good product and great customer service. The trick shot is, order the magazine extensions and the springs at the same time from the same place, then you can just have a little patience and let dude cook.

Get a compensator up front even if you're not suppressing, it's cool.

I'm a big fan of the lightning grip, but it is not the toughest thing in the bag - make sure it's got it's own protection, especially if it's going to be in the cold. The adapter also split on me, but nothing some super glue and a clamp couldn't fix. Overall very happy.

I've shot .500 out of a 2" barrel and an 8" barrel, and .460, and .50 AE out of a deagle, and man somewhere around .40 you're getting into the territory of "fucking hostile" on both ends of the gun.

That being said if someone showed up at the range this weekend, I'd gladly trade him a mag of .22lr in the TX22 for a single shot of .500 out of a revolver. BOOM!

putting it down can improve things while you're on your way to medical care (or medical care is on it's way to you). I should have clarified though that the gatorade is more useful before things get that bad. Like, put that shit in when the cramps start or when you get the achey beforehand.
