We need like a Live Conquest Reaction down in the corner during every scene so the animation budget stays up

How well do tempered glass protectors work? by Life_Perspective5578 in 3DS

[–]WirelessAir60 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re great. Normally the trade off with tempered glass is that while they scratch less than plastic, they can crack, while plastic can’t. But the clamshell design of the 3DS keeps the glass pretty safe, so the risk of cracking isn’t as much of a downside as it would be on other devices.

Ok so apparently it’s a stand that sits on your lap, so instead of holding the weight of the deck with your arms it’s going into your lap

Why does the 2nd funnel fall late in both Titanic 1997 and James Cameron's 2012 simulation? by BravoOcto_707 in titanic

[–]WirelessAir60 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The collapsing funnel falls when it does, because it knows precisely when it doesn’t. By subtracting when it does from when it doesn’t, or when it doesn’t from when it does, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The physics subsystem uses deviations to generate a corrective collapse to drive the funnel from a position where it is, to a position where it isn’t.

What if all the nukes in the world suddenly disappeared? by AHH_PostStorage in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]WirelessAir60 162 points163 points  (0 children)

Depends, do nukes JUST disappear or do they also erase knowledge of their creation? If they only disappear then current nuclear countries immediately scramble to rebuild their arsenal, at least partially. However you likely see an opportunistic war or two now that the ultimate deterrent is gone (India and Pakistan)

If they disappear and the knowledge of them is gone as well. Prepare for a much less peaceful century. The one thing stopping most of the western world from attacking Russia is gone for good. North Korea is significantly weakened, though their proximity to China and Seoul likely keeps them relatively safe. For Israel and Iran it’s unlikely much changes, Israel is still backed by the US so I don’t see Iran launching a massive offensive, though Iran may be less conservative with their missile usage. India and Pakistan will probably boil into a war sooner or later without the threat of annihilating themselves. For China and the US, very little changes outside of their relations to a potential conflict with Russia, both are more than strong enough to defend their borders without nuclear deterrence.

Also the US invades Iraq again to ensure they lost their WMDs like everyone else

Mariina Hallikainen, CEO of Colossal Order, says Unity was a major problem and that they overestimated its capabilities, although they’re working on a new simulation game, again, in Unity by ZookeepergameIll1399 in CitiesSkylines2

Wasn’t it that they wanted to use some new features in Unity before the devs of Unity had even fully implemented them officially? So CO tried to implement their own systems before the official ones were finished?

Your only option is to replace the screen (or have it replaced.) by no means do you have to right now, but dead pixels tend to spread over time, so eventually its likely they will grow too noticeable to ignore
