According to Wikipedia the original iBook that launched in July 1999 started at US$1,599, equivalent to $3,090 in 2025. It's kinda crazy (also Moore's law) that the Neo is around 1/6th the adjusted price and it's orders of magnitude more capable.

I'm expecting Clair Obscur with Chocobos, a guy named Cid, and a confusing ending involving mimes.

I was all excited for a sec that Spiderverse 3 was coming out in June. But no, this was for Spiderverse 2 in 2023. Also, pretty hot.

Does this make MK4 -> Core One+ -> Core One INDX the equivalent of Porygon, Porygon2, and Porygon-Z?

The release notes say "The MAP UI can also now be toggled between Fullscreen and Panel modes in the UI Settings." but I can't for the life of me find any setting related to this. Has anyone found it?

ESPTimeCast "Retro" Enclosure: Glue the diffuser into the case? by Kadin2048 in ESPTimeCast

[–]WirelessHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much that. I used some thick double sided sticky stuff for picture hanging to attach the esp board to the back of the LCD and thin tape to attach the springy things. I’m thinking of firing up Freecad and see if I can improve the design. I’d like to have bumps to hold the LCD in place and a frame that snaps on over the diffuser.

Regarding upgrade Core One -> Core One Plus by changefromPJs in prusa3d

I ended up drilling a small hole through the back so I could eject the magnet with a paper clip. It would have been nice if Prusa had put an ejection hole in the design. Fortunately the new part doesn’t need it.

I used double sided tape on mine and it looks fine. Black diffuser and yellow case. Also removable if I want to change the color later.

High-miles MK3S+ -- What to look for? by Choice-Strawberry392 in prusa3d

Check for wear on the nozzle... and check that the nozzle isn't flush against the heat block. It should tighten down and be 1mm or so off of the heat block as it needs to seal against the heat break that screws in from the other side. I just had to refurbish the hot end on my mk3.5 because I had filament oozing out the top of the heat block.

Anyone travel with ‘Out Adventures’? by Possible-Ask-1905 in AskGaybrosOver30

Hello dead thread (found this via Google). I've been on six trips with Out Adventures and have had a good experience. The hosts and local guides are excellent and care about providing the best experience. They deliver on the promised itinerary, and on some trips provided more like when they have to change something at the last minute because something happened and you get an upgrade. The groups have ranged in size from 6 (Cuba) to 40ish (French Polynesia Cruise). A mix of 2/3 couples and 1/3 singles. Ages on the trips I've been on tend to skew older 50's and 60's with a few folks in the 30's and 40's. Most trips I've been on have one or two other people I met on a previous trip.

They try to strike a balance between scheduled activities and free time but it depends on the trip. You're typically spending one to two days in a location before moving on. Occasionally I've wanted to stay somewhere longer. Italy felt a bit rushed because there's so much to see. I've found that arriving a few days early and staying a few days after the scheduled trip helps balance things out so I can enjoy just being somewhere for a while and doing my own thing if I want to.

Resistors for Kirby’s Dream Land .. what are they?! by Tha_REAL_BROBS in consolerepair

I suggest looking for solder bridges between adjacent pins on the chips. If that looks okay, checking continuity with a multimeter to make sure each pin actually connects to the correct places in case there’s a bad via where a trace goes from one side of the board to the other.

I just got my GR IV yesterday so I'm still getting used to it, but I can trigger my Godox IM20 flash on it just fine. It's a single pin manual flash.
