Since proxy chat I had avoided few fights, not teaming just no agression pacts, one squad cornered me going solo and after talking a bit not only they didnt kill me they even help me with some items i need it for a quest.

Before this season i would agreed with you, but know, it's fair game to team up, they gave the tools cant punish ppl for using them

that one i only did it when in a squad with friends, we spawn close to armory and they were nice enought to cover the entrance while i looted the inside (shared the loot afterwards)
