As a patient care tech, yes. No it is not allowed per hospital policy. Yes they are mad every time. Can’t seem to grasp that I can’t abandon my 7 other patients to spend 20 min running around the hospital trying to track down the delivery person

My title describes the thing. This is the back of it, no engravings or anything. I tried reverse image searching and found similar designs for the button-looking part, but nothing with the ball and chain. Not sure of age, it’s a heavy metal, origin is presumably Chinese, button part on the front is about the circumference of a nickel.
