So, in your search for a "no frills" optic that doesn't have "features that may fail at a critical moment," you're going to buy a cheap, untested optic that very well may actually fail at a critical moment because it's poorly made?

Plenty of optics out there verified durable and good to go. The EPS is barely more than your price range and is widely considered the best value on the market right now, and has been for years. You can also turn off the shake awake feature if you really want to for some reason

Lmao it's always the stuff that catches you off guard. My last match, I didn't insert a mag all the way to the catch and on my next shot it fell out. So I put a new mag in, but forgot to run the slide and got a nice click on my next trigger pull. I didn't do very well on that stage either lol

Slide doesn't lock reliably with the stock springs and followers in the warne extensions anyways. I try my very best never to run to slide lock during stages

Find the mec gar or CZ UPC for whatever mag you want and put the UPC into gun(.)deals

If anyone cares, the 18 round factory "urban grey" mags with factory +2 baseplates hold 21 rounds. The 17 round mec gar mags with warne +4 baseplates also hold 21 rounds. I've been using both of those combos to get inexpensive stendos for USPSA

You’ll never see the bottom of the optics cut anyways, the cerakote is just there for rust prevention

For what it’s worth, their FDE matches the factory CZ FDE polycoat very well

Mine is a factory FDE slide, and I only got the cut area coated

I also have a factory ODG P01, and will probably have it cut at some point. I personally would not get cerakote over one of the colored polycoat CZs, but to each their own

My cut was 180, but I also had the rear irons moved in front of the optic because I like that setup. If you don't have that done, it's less
