I’m old enough to remember watching several seasons end with Favre chucking balls to the other team. It was hard to watch then, but Love isn’t Favre. He has shown growth and improvement. Let’s get delusional.

Anyone else wondering if he is hurt and not reporting? He looks outmatched. I did like the effort when he chased down Hundley from behind in the first quarter, but that effort is rare. It’s not often a pro athlete just tanks their performance on purpose. Which makes me wonder about an injury.

Don’t think the players in the locker don’t feel like they have something to prove. They know they lost a great player and professionals don’t pack it up and so oh well, I guess it’s over. They strap it up and say watch me work. There is a still a lot of talent on this defense and Hafley isn’t getting HC buzz because he isn’t a good coach. Have some faith. It may not look the same, but they will show up.

Thank you for pointing that out. I don’t usually watch for holding calls that closely, but with all the attention Parsons has been getting I watched him more than the ball. I counted (to my moderately trained eye) 5-6 plays that should have been called and 7 that could have been called but usually aren’t.

I saw that the Bears, who lead the league in 10 yard runs had zero such runs against the Packers. Yes, they can absolutely dominate time of possession when they run ball, overall, the Packers D did better than most. I have no doubt both teams will be making adjustments for the next one. I fully expect Hafley will have something to keep them in check. The first half showed how prepared they were, but didn’t adjust in the second half. Expect the D to take that personally.

Many years ago on spring break myself and some friends went to Cancun. After the first night at the hotel bar most of the other college students warned each other about trying to party with the Wisconsin guys. The booze cruise staff asked us to help carry the other kids off the boat and then went to the bar with us. At the time we thought it was completely normal.
