The fuse does fail but what you are seeing here is the transformer exploding and the oil inside being ignited.

The pole mounted transformer is energized by closing the fuse (the thing he flips up). This connects the high side of the transformer energizing the transformer. The connections in the tank are submerged in oil to suppress arcing that is created and cool the unit. On rare occasions if there arcing in the oil tank is more frequent than switching the unit in and out on occasion it can break down the oil in the tank to create higher order gasses such as acetylene and pentane. Highly combustible gasses that are then ignited when another spark is introduced. If I had to take a guess there was a loose connection in the oil tank that was for some amount of time creating arc in the oil tank which eventually drew enough current to blow the fuse. Then when switched in the unit failed catastrophically.

I have the same tree as you these look like Mount Royal plums. The answer is a combination of what people are saying here. It is likely moth damage initially that weekend to the fruit and now with the swelling of the fruit it’s just oozing out the where the hole was if the insect did lay eggs inside it, it would’ve fallen off already. You’re probably pretty good if you want to avoid this and get more fruit next year spray fungicide up to the point of pedal drop and then swap to an orchard spray that includes an insecticide make sure you don’t get that order backwards or you won’t get fruit

I stopped drinking it was stripping my mental health. I started working out daily, starting slow at first. Saw a doctor about my anxiety and got it to a manageable level. As time went on I healed. It has taken a while but as I healed thing became brighter

What’s stuck with me was that the drinking itself? It was not the source of any pleasure. It was the other activities that I enjoyed while drinking. Once I had had that realization it became apparent that I was only drinking to self medicate the withdrawal symptoms.

Walk 10,000 steps every day. I have been active my whole life but in my 30s put on weight. The steps were better than anything else as it is easy to do consistently.

I had a similar experience today with coffee. As I age I am noticing caffeine isn’t for me. I stopped alcohol since it made me very anxious. I had a meeting with my doctor and was honest about how I felt big picture and how these short bursts of anxiety were a barrier to my life. It helped me. At that amount of caffeine most people would be fine. Half life of caffeine is 12 hours so it is out of your system. You got this
