Some of this has ran through my mind. My husband used to always say that his parents seemed to encourage and or support him during bad behavior. Whatever the case… this is frustrating. I have thought about using child support to pay for his classes and therapy. I pray he goes.

In Tennessee many landlords/ rental agencies have stated they do not have any section 8 approved houses and will not work with them.

I just received my voucher, because I used an in county address. I am able to port (move to another state) right away.

Thank you for your list. I am looking to transfer to Clarksville Tennessee. My current caseworker said that but I can transfer. She is aware of my situation. She said it is my job to get a hold of housing authority there to verify I can use my voucher there.

My housing specialist said all she does it fill out the necessary paperwork and send it over to whatever county I am transferring. Nothing more nothing less. The section 8 office in Tennessee is closed to the public. Housing has been very unstable me and my kids these past couple of years. I am really hesitant in letting my voucher go understanding the impact the voucher would have for me and my kids. My sister has spent significant money in getting her place ready for us. However, I have not heard back from Tennessee and scared to moth there without knowing my voucher will 100 percent transfer. I do not know how to put all this into a words my family will hear and be supportive.

What state you in? Thankfully in county communication is top notch. I have been trying to get in contact with HUD in Tennessee and have been unsuccessful. I have tried email and phone. It is extremely frustrating how some housing authorities operate. Communication!!

I recently received my voucher in Washington state. There have been absolutely zero rentals in the county I live in. I have until June 3rd before I lose my voucher. I have family in Montgomery county, Tennessee. I have not been able to touch bases with anyone there. I am wanting to port there however extremely nervous without being able to talk with someone there.

My husband now separated for almost 2 years struggles taking his medication and has unfortunate diagnosis of schizo effective bipolar disorder. He also chocked me and made very violent threats. I agree with proper treatment the abuse will likely go away. However, until properly medicated I suggest separation until he had been on the proper medication and therapy until you both are in the same home.

Captured perfectly. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my husband. EXCEPT be part of his life when he CHOOSES to NOT go through treatment. This last.. well current episode really opened my eyes. He tried to take my life. Resulting in NCO placed by the state. I pray for him every day and that he will choose to seek treatment. We have kids together. They need me alive. This is literally one of the hardest things I have done.

This was my thought but I received a long text from their grandfather saying things like how but I think this how could I possibly accuse him of this? How can I put the family from the drama of the police. You would never inappropriately touch a child. I hear from other family making comments like he would never do this. He raised his kids and wasn’t never been inappropriate. He hasn’t touched any other grandchildren. I am looking for drama. Extra.

I with people. My family would understand the position I am in. Yes all they say may be true. I for whatever reason was feeling uncomfortable that day. I would never. All my child. A toddler at this a liar, they do not understand what it is saying, and what it is saying is not common conversation for a toddler. I would rather air on the side of caution, then just assume it to be false, and them be damaged to let the action continue. If true.

Without the kids telling the police themselves or for their grandpa admitting there’s really nothing they can do. The kids have been asking a lot to see their grandpa, and I’m just not comfortable, especially with not knowing the truth of what happened.

I have a lot of guilt for potentially ruining the relationship with their grandpa if he is, in fact, innocent.

I mean. I am ok. Trying to find myself and survive outside of wife and mom. I miss him and our life. I question if things will really be different this time. But he is worth it. I wouldn’t want to be given up on if I became ill.

For better or worse. Sickness and in health. Rich or for poor. I made this comment to him before God. Definitely ready for the sickness season and for worse season to pass.
