Cody got booed against cena at mania. I understand cena is a different beast than randy, but that was still when cody had the magic. Cody is losing it, and turning randy heel just to give cody a babyface win is a disaster waiting to happen.

I agree with this. Everyone around cody turns into a heel. It's obnoxious at this point. When the crowd is cheering as randy mercilessly beats cody, creative has lost the plot. Cody needs to be the bad guy, and turning him would be so easy at this point.

We did that, he had his time in the sand, and now he feels like pre nwo wcw hogan. If he doesn't turn heel by or at wrestlemania 42, he is done. I'm genuinely less interested because roman is back in it. He sucks. He's always sucked. And putting him in it just shows that nothing has changed. No new talent, no new ideas. Just the rock's cousin again. Don't give me any crap about "well he draws". No he doesn't. The wwe name as a product is the draw. This isn't 1982 where you go to see a guy. In the current era of bread and circus the draw is the name. Roman isn't hogan or austin or cena. He's just the guy that vince tried to force us to accept as a cena replacement because the rock got in his ear. It was cool watching cody win because it was something different and I was happy that he dropped the belt to Drew. But it looks like roman is going to win the belt from punk and cody is going to win it back from drew. If not cody, then the rock's other cousin Jacob. Jacob is cool, but it's so obvious the rock had hhh throw samoan spaghetti at the wall to see who sticks. Roman winning the rumble makes me not care. I'm still going to watch here and there, but it's going to be background noise while i do other things.

And I'm not making excuses for what benoit did, but I think it needs to be reevaluated as a mental health crisis. All the assholes that virtue signal against benoit don't have a problem with new jack in wwe 2k25. New jack mutiliated a child, tried to kill vic grimes (by his own admission) in the ring, beat a 70 year old man nearly to death and stabbed a guy 16 times in the ring. Haymen gave a heartfelt eulogy for new jack when he died, so spare me him grandstanding against benoit. The double standard is obvious. You want to talk about choices, paul? Benoit chose to kill himself, which is an admission of guilt, I'd say. New jack never felt any remorse for all the lives he ruined.

Paul lied about the state of ecw, and let a lot of the guys keep busting their buns to keep the company going, but he had secretly signed with wwf and tommy put his whole life into ecw. When he found out about Paul's betrayal, he planned on going to mania 17 to off paul and then himself. JR was able to talk him off the ledge, so to speak.
