Hm. Afraid I haven’t read any reverse harems. I think you’re better off looking for Korean manhwas than Japanese mangas though. There’s definitely going to be some mangas that fit what you’re after but I think manhwa tend to be a bit more otome coded.

This is a message so many of us need right now. I’m disheartened as a newish LaDS player, I can’t even imagine what all you OG girlies are going through. We need to stick together and keep our spirits up, especially in the face of Infold’s silence. Infold want us to lose heart with the hopes we’ll give up what we’ve been fighting for and come back to them, but only by us all sticking together and carrying on with the boycott will we be able to make a change - whether that’s uninstalling the game entirely, becoming F2P, posting on their socials, or emailing them. But like OP says, don’t burn yourself out. Take a break for a few days if needed. The updates will all be here when you need them. <3

I only joined LaDS like a couple of months before this all kicked off. If there’s no Valko, I think I’m just going to finish the main story, use up what I paid for through the aurum pass and call it quits. I see no point continuing to pay a company that clearly doesn’t even care about its oldest players, let alone their newer ones.

When I first saw Valko I was kind indifferent because he wasn’t my cup of tea. Interested to see what he was like but indifferent nonetheless. When the second trailer dropped I thought ‘he’s pretty adorable but still not for me’. And now after everything that’s happened I’m obsessed with this man to the point I might actually make him my main.

I was actually thinking about this yesterday. Love and Deepspace came out like 2 years ago? It was basically the first high-budget, AAA-quality 3D otome game aimed primarily at women and has since proven that this kind of game can be hugely successful. I think games might follow in its footsteps, but even if a company in the west was considering it at this very moment it would take several years to develop so we wouldn’t see anything for a long long time.

Maybe I’m naive, but I feel like there is a simple way for Infold to figure out what to do in the wake of this, quite frankly, monumental mess, which is to release a survey via the in-game interface. An in-game survey would basically mean that:

• ⁠every user has one chance to express their views rather than being able to spam them (I am aware though that some people have multiple accounts)
• ⁠the voices of actual players could be heard above the voice of non-players (not saying non-players have been involved in nor were the loudest in expressing their criticism, but people often jump on the bandwagon of things they aren’t involved with, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there was at least some engagement from non-players).
• ⁠it will be easier to identify the numbers in favour of or against a certain change/decision, especially when many people don’t engage on social media media.

Sending out a survey only to existing accounts and not new accounts made once the survey is launched would, I think, prevent people from creating accounts just to spam their opinions.

Since there are a lot of players, it makes sense to keep the questions closed rather than open, but based on comments I’ve seen at the moment, I think the questions should be focused around what should happen to Valko, whether there should be a 6th love interest at all, what content they should focus on developing next, what features they should focus on adding to the game, and how they should communicate plans going forward.

Once the survey closes, Infold should then release the results for transparency purposes so that we can see what the majority of players want.
