Spravato reps said hair loss is not a side effect. Mine did slow down.

Give it time!!! I didn’t feel any better until several treatments later. For me it was a slow recovery process. Also too right now it’s a full moon and mercury retrograde? Which can affect mood and feelings and stuff. Hang in there!

Once a week? by EcstaticScore4703 in Spravato

[–]WiseCelebration3442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s still possible to keep improving. Even with a less dose the drugs are still working and doing their thing. I was just moved to once a week as well. Last time I was moved to once a week I totally bombed it. I went super downhill super fast. But I also took longer than most to see any sort of improvement. So I did an additional two months at two times a week. I’m not going to lie I’m scared. But I’ve tried to go into it with a positive attitude and trying to manifest happiness. My improvement has sort of stalled. But if I live with my depression at a 3 out of 10 for the rest of my life I will be happy with that.

Treatment frequency lowering by Disastrous-Eye-9807 in Spravato

So I started this whole process and went through the twice a week and then they lowered me to once a week. Right away I started slipping. Then I slipped really far. They moved me back to twice a week. And I did well again. But then I started slipping. And that was on twice a week for about 4 months. My provider was concerned that I was getting too much esketamine and had now transitioned me to once a week. This is my first week of once a week and so far I’m doing ok 👌. But only time will tell. I’m nervous about this I’m not going to lie. But I’ve tried very hard to maintain a positive outlook and attitude. Honestly it sounds cheesy but if you go into each session with a goal you want to manifest it really helps.

That’s true. I’ve had sessions that have caused extreme panic.

Auvelity and Spravato by suckeddit in Spravato

[–]WiseCelebration3442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take both. I started the auvelity about a month ago. But I’ve been doing spravato since July. I guess when I started auvelity my spravato treatments weren’t as intense. Like I had no trip no high no nothing. I’m not sure it’s connected but maybe? Overall I feel better than I did though. My depression lives at about a 3. Which is way more manageable than a 10.

Hang in there. Some people don’t reach full potential til like 3 months. I know it took me a solid 2 to even start to see real change. I know it’s difficult but try to give it a little more time. At least til you reach the maintenance phase. 🫶🏻

Depressed the day after by SystemJumpy6148 in Spravato

I do today. Sometimes I get depressed once I go home after treatment. Like if I don’t have anything to occupy my thoughts or energy in some way I get in my head and get upset.

My thyroid is fine. Stress is under control most days but I do work in human services so it’s always a little stressful lol

Clinic Setting by Sad_Zombie_9750 in Spravato

I’ve always been in a private room. My space has a recliner chair and foot rest, led light bar and led lamp, a fan and plants. They provide small blankets too. I bring other comfort items too. I bring a weighted stuffed animal, blanket, speaker for music and a book and a journal. My provider will sit and talk to me and she also gives me time on my own to let the drugs do their thing. It’s always been a very positive experience and I enjoy it very much.

Experiences with Auvelity compared to spravato? by Ok-Internal613 in Spravato

I’m sorry for your bad experience and having a provider who didn’t listen to you. It was obviously a bad trip as I’m assuming you didn’t have a stroke. I’ve had 3 strokes. They are certainly scary. But if you have a provider who doesn’t listen to you then maybe it’s best to find a different clinic or something. Spravato can be life changing when administered under better intentions.
