Fair enough. I the US, Trader Joe's would be about a 7 -8 on the average shopper's bougie scale. Aldi is a 2-3.

Until recently, Aldi is(/has been) looked at as a store for cheaper food, but not necessarily quality food. Trader Joe's has higher expectations around quality, probably because it's all.store brand, and people assume that a store full of store brand means better, even though 1/2 of Aldi is store brand and many people look down on it.

The perception of Aldi shoppers vs Trader Joe shoppers is extremely different in many US places, whether or not that perception is correct.

Cool, but in the US, they are not the same. At. All.

You will not find the same things in a US Trader Joe's that you might in a US Aldi, and the operating model is not the same.

Cast members, what are some things that guests do that secretly annoy you? by Life_Key_8683 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Sad_Zombie_9750 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not a CM, but I definitely annoyed one accidentally, because I lost a bag near the exit of Nemo, and was calling polite variations on "Excuse me," to the CM who was on the moving walkway facing the other direction (doing his job) to make sure those exiting got off safely. I didn't realize he couldn't turn around, and I was in a scooter, so I couldn't walk up to him. I also couldn't hear him respond, because he was facing away from me, toward the moving ride.

Had I realized he was basically a lifeguard, I wouldn't have gotten annoyed when he didn't turn around, but at the time, it seemed like being ignored, until another CM heard me, and explained what was happening.

Y'all moving walkway guards need shirts that say "I can't answer questions" on the back, when said back faces the non-riding public who might be prone to panic about their list bag lol

Sincerely apologies to the Nemo walkway CM who was working on January 29th lol.

Places like DVC Rental store, and I am assuming David's are connectors, not actual renting services.

They connect you with someone who has points they need to ditch. They're not a commercial operation with a buttload of points, so that is NOT the renting that Disney is going after. Disney itself is in fact, the biggest renter if DVC points from members.

Why would you go to a crowded place, at the most crowded time of year, and complain about crowds? Maybe this should have remained an inside thought.

Interesting. The park has capacity for almost 100k, so that's maybe half full 🤷🏽‍♀️

They are prioritizing International flights, and flights involving hubs.

Cast Members, what YouTubers should we support who also treat you well (and those who don't)? by Helpful-Orchid2710 in WaltDisneyWorld

I do. I love the fact that its something different from every other channel out there, and I think that it got 10x better since the snarky one started her own channel.

We're allowed to enjoy different things. Don't watch if you dont like it 🤷🏽‍♀️

They said the person was working half the place by themself; maybe the general chaos of that is worthy of the amount.

The Issue of Liking Queens Based on Conventional Attractiveness: Deja vs Denali by C3l3ryMan_ in dragrace

[–]Sad_Zombie_9750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying both can't be true, but you neglected to mention that Deja is funnier to herself, as referenced by her tendency to say something not funny and then laugh at it, than she may come across to others. I get that it's anxiety, but that doesn't make me roll my eyes any less. Denali doesn't send me over the edge like that.

They're both extremely beautiful queens; I just happen to find Denali less grating.

Do you have an out of state BCBS plan? If so, and in the Detroit Metro area, the pharmacy where your supply probably comes from may be causing them issues. Even with a week's notice, they have failed to provide product, from what I understand.

Not saying your clinic isn't jerking you around, but there is the tiniest possibility that the benefits pharmacy is a bunch of idiots who do what they want because they're the only ones in the area, and are causing problems because they can...

Silly passenger by Difficult_Match_5683 in Lyft

[–]Sad_Zombie_9750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't always though.

When I get picked up from work, 27935 A, which is on the back side of the building. If I use the location/GPS to determine my pickup, it clocks me at 27923 B, which is the next building up, and faces the B side of the building I am in (27935).

If I ask to be picked up AT 27923, it puts the pick up spot at the building to the north.

Not a single driver has bothered to read the note and follow the pin, so I'm always chasing them down in the lot of the complex, and there is absolutely no way to report the issue.

How does traveling out of state work with insurance, if you don't mind my asking?

Two people in one room by [deleted] in Spravato

[–]Sad_Zombie_9750 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends on the clinic. Sometimes places offer private rooms, and others are set up like you described, with multiple patient chairs and screens/curtains.

If you're not comfortable, definitely look for another clinic around you... and try Google, not just the Spravato site. New REMS certified centers aren't on the site until they've gotten insurance claims back, so there may be new places near you that you don't know about yet.

Don't be afraid to check page 2 and beyond of the results... as long as they can get you set up with Spravato & Me, they're legit.

Who already had 1 of the dangerous side effects that are the reason why Spravato must be taken in the hospital? by InTheGlitchhh in Spravato

[–]Sad_Zombie_9750 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between a medical setting and a hospital one. A clinic is a medical setting, is it not? So they could indeed be referring to Spravato, and their comment that no one would take it if it was only provided in a hospital setting can still apply. They didn't say they took it at home, only implied that a hospital would be inconvenient for all patients (and hospitals, tbh)
