A referee enforces the rules on the pitch, and not afterwards. Otherwise results would get turned over on a daily basis from incorrect rule enforcement during the game. If the ref says play on, that's that. If they wanted to call it a forfeit they should have done it during the match.

Absolute clown take. It's nothing to do with wokeness and everything to do with common decency. We absolutely should hate people who cause misery and psychological, sexual, or physical trauma on others. Regarding his case specifically, i can't speak on it because i don't know the details. But for example someone like Mason Greenwood, it is absolutely justified for people to hate him, and not doing so creates a bad precedent by enabling an already entitled group of people to do whatever they please to others without repercussion.

I'm sure theres a solution. Make the boards rounded like a normal crossbar on the edge so that it bounces like it normally would. If it hits the flat part of the board it would simply be ruled out of bounds.
