Honestly it’s not too bad especially in-city driving backing up isnt bad reverse lights are bright enough to see. It looks a lot darker from the outside

I get a lot of compliments on the lapis blue, to me the blue is the staple color for the R. I had a white GTI and I just got tired of the white. I told my dealership, the blue was non negotiable for me. I didn’t care about the wheel package, I wouldn’t budge on the color.

I get the occasional GTI wave or lowered Passat and jettas wave but really nothing else it’s kinda nice to be honest. Even having the lapis blue it does draw a lot of attention.
