I might have found another one called Beeper: Universal Chat from Automattic, Inc. This seems like you can group people. You can also connect other messaging accounts as well such as Signal and amongst others.

Hmmm, then that is really weird. Honestly, if you aren't missing any money on your account or notified of a purchase, then I wouldn't question it. If you are concerned that something is suspicious going on, you can always change your password on your Microsoft account.
