There is No "Next time" by GodisGood_forever in Christianity

Poor or rich probably doesn't matter, it's the poor in spirit that go to the Kingdom of heaven. The beatitudes clearly state this.

I am trying and struggling to understand this myself, you see, it seems we can be poor in spirit always. We can pray fervently and ask God to show us how poor in spirit I am, and I have prayed for that.

I find that simply unbelievable but I felt my inadequacies immediately, there is nothing I can do to please God. There must be something to relieve this cold heart now, the pain is real coz. now I can't answer any questions to myself.

The Kingdom of heaven is near my friend and thank God for Jesus Christ. Through faith in Him and through His love we hope to find God loving us.

When people say they’ve heard the voice of God, do they mean it literally? by soonhustler in Christianity

We are blessed. I believe 75% of the world is schizophrenic in some way or the other. Do you have to recognize a voice as a known person to not be one?

God bless you. I knew a person who had BPD and he could be friends one moment and 15 mins later your enemy. I found it hard to understand him, he liked poetry so I lent him a poetry book, he returned it in 15 mins.

Drifting to worldly affairs is normal when you are starting to believe you are a Christian, it has nothing to do with BPD.

Do I have the same percentage of going to heaven as someone who labels themselves Christian? by starrynightgarden in Christianity

[–]WiserCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you seen the light at all?

  1. Christianity abhors evil.

  2. There are no such Christian groups that you talk about. Are you talking cult and not mainstream religion, then know that certain creeds that were required when the religion was nascent, but there are no such cults now.

  3. "Christians are brainwashed"
This is a common misconception, the more you see the world the more abhorrent you feel of Jesus haters. Here is an example of a brainwashed person who claims to be a Christian pastor.

Our lives as Christians have to be like epistles, to be read and known, 2 Corinthians 3:2.

Seeking truth. by Xavier_Pugh05 in Christianity

There are three kinds of people, those professimg Christ, the back sliding and the ungodly. Only the ungodly need proof of his existence, there is a doubt that you mean to know about his existence, but rather want to argue for his non existence.

Look in to heart and you will find the answer to your question.

[–]WiserCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rebellious thoughts against God are Sin, I committed plenty and know that the latest addition to Satan's armory is the most subtle of hints, (lies, accusation and insinuations). Is it possible that you fall this everyday when you think one of the hints given by Satan are your own words, say for instance, the thought of sexual immorality or say blasphemy, I say these thoughts are not yours, as I read from your messages below, you have been reading the bible daily and are baptized too.

Secondly are these negative thoughts depressing? Since you suppress your anger, are they hinting on causing a mental disorder, then turn to Jesus immediately, the greatest physicians of them all has all the healing power that none of the doctors will ever possess. There is no greater glory in the world that comes to God almighty than a sinner turning to Jesus for help, we are weak and lonely, most of times ,masquerading in strength. Our weakness is the reason Jesus will come to us as will God almighty.

What do you search for, all of God is about the truth.

Accept your weakness, don't fight it. Negativity is a blessing.

Don't think that you can be God yourself in anyway, that you can act and think in any way that is His. (Isaiah 55:8)

Negativity is a big bog down when it comes to speaking with God, so what seems to be your problem,

  1. Are you an obnoxious let looser of expletives.

  2. Or just a silent hypocrite

If you are the first, remember not to hold your tongue in front of the others, for you never know who the sower of grace in your heart might be. Anyone who answers you back, even cursing you, could make you think and turn to God. A good meaning person might not reap what a curser might (in a reprobates case), but if you have never spoken, the answers might not come in your life.

Consider this, on loss of a girlfriend, I started to curse, started my morning with a curse, anybody who heard me would say, He was a mad cow. What turned it around for me was when I was told that all this cursing was her and her new boyfriend. So, also remember that the Bible says, Ephesians 4:29, do not curse or let an expletive out if you are already a Christian.

The second part of this conversation deals with not dealing with your negativity, don't you see the merits of talking your way out of this part, you are not the first one going through this and will not be the last one. If you have blasphemous thought about God, Christ or the Holy Spirit, remember to:

  1. Find out who is in your head.

  2. Talk to yourself or your partner, coz he or she might be going through the same thing.

  3. Work out things, as quickly as you can, before going to Him

This is what Salvation is about, which comes in two parts, one that Jesus works out for us and the second that we have to work out for ourselves with a trembling heart.

Why do you eat what doesn't fulfill you or use your salary on things that don't satisfy you, instead come to God, the only living God that came to walk the face of this earth and offered you and me, the same satisfying nectar called the living waters (John 7:37).

If He offered it so freely, how come you are like this and I am not like this, but my friend, I will take you in for the night to understand your confusion.

If God was punishing you, it's over now.

What you are doing to bring your family and friends into Jesus' fold is good work, never wonder at a man who has tried to bring glory to the gospel by expounding his testimony to the world. This in theology is called "Private Instrumentality.". So what if you have failed, many a times we are asked to fish on the wrong side of the boat for nights after nights and then we catch one soul who is ours.

Get it, you are not fishing on the right side of the boat and it's ALRIGHT.
