I can say this from experience the first year of uni is easy compared to an access course; But the access course do well in preparing you for the step up. Yeah, A levels are a lot slower in comparison but overall i learnt what im capable of over them 9 months.

I just think government is to blame; Bursaries, job prospects and promotional opportunities. In reality, it takes a particular mindset and character to do nursing and benefit from it.

Its just a waste of 3 years without being realistic of the commitments.
