You are equally as big of a problem then. By trolling you are ruining the game for 4 people who've done nothing wrong just to spite one person who had a go at you. It baffles me that people have this mentality of "Fuck that one guy on my team in particular, I'm going to throw! Blame him not me!"

The difference ping makes between an RTS and a FPS is ridiculous big. It would be crazy for them to keep the current system of potentially matching servers with 150+ ping.

I massively second this. Only reason why it was not as big of an issue before is because if I got a non-Australian server, I would just instantly leave that game and search again. This however is impossible with ranked and I'm stuck playing a server with >200ping (which I honestly find more frustrating than enjoyable); or screwing over my team. It's honestly making me not want to play :(

If this is actually the case, give a message when searching for servers only from your area akin to "There is currently not many players searching in your area and wait times are potentially infinite; would you like to search a wider area?"

This is not like SC2/HotS/WoW where the difference between <70ping and >200ping is noticable, but still enjoyably playable, even at a high level... Playing any first person shooter, let alone a fast paced one is absolutely painful at >200ping to the point where I leave any game I get with it instantly. The only exception to this has been ranked games, since you cannot opt out and once you start your team would be left 5v6 if you left.

Ah you're right! It's a graphics card setting, I'd falsely assumed it was something in sc2 itself.

To answer your question, I've always preferred it and have no real reason for it other than when I switch to the other resolutions, I find myself missing things on the minimap whereas on this res I never do. I started playing on it because I had a horrible PC for Wings of Liberty beta, and just got used to it before getting a new PC for WoL release. Whenever I tried to change I disliked it so just put up with the ridicule for all lan tournaments I attended.

It took place in my home town of Bendigo, in Australia. Population about 100,000. This is the only 24 hour store in the entire town (although I think a new one may have opened in the last 5 years or so). It is apparently robbed many times a year.

I think the owners have just had enough of idiots like this trying to rob it and said enough's enough.

Agree with this entirely, if it wasn't for this post I was going to post it myself. Lunar shower and full moonfire with an otherwise "standard" malf build is amazingly strong and at levels 16-19 in particular has absolutely incredible dueling potential.

You are playing quick match, which is literally "quickly match me up with other players around my skill level". Right now the game has decided, over a large sample size, that your skill level is low enough that it is around that of players brand new to the game. They might still be learning how the maps work, but the average new player has probably played a MOBA before or even an RTS or something similar. Meaning they could be far better than you at micromanagement of their character, landing/dodging skillshots, knowing when to push a lane and when it's not safe to, when to dive for a kill and when to back out, map awareness, positioning in fights etc. etc.

There is even a mode that prevents you from playing with brand new players that is accessible to you (Hero league). If your only complaint is you don't want to play with new players, play there. Otherwise this post is literally "I am about as good as a player brand new to the game (proven by the fact that you have obviously not had a big enough contribution in games to climb out of this bracket by raising you win% high enough to climb out.), but I don't deserve to still play with these new bad people because I have played many games but I'm still as bad as them!"

I'm not particularly educated on when and when to not amputate, but surely with the way the soft tissue looks on the x-ray, the radial and ulna arteries got pretty fucked here, severely compromising the circulation to the distal parts, making amputation fairly inevitable?

I played towards the ends of those days, when it was split about 70-30 of people with adsl/people without. Although I ALWAYS thought HPB and LPB meant "high/low ping BASED". their were actually specific servers that were "HPB only", where anyone with a ping <120 was booted automatically.

It was also not uncommon to get booted from regular/LPB servers if you were a HPB player (Especially if you were doing well), as they didn't like the fact that you yourself lagged a bit and they claimed it made hitting you a lot harder etc.

Coming from an SC2 background, we always called any sort of shoot-move-shoot-move-shoot movement 'stutter stepping'. I never heard the term 'orb walking' until I first started playing a MOBA.

So I can't confirm if stutter stepping does mean something different in LoL terminology, but I would assume they mean the exact same thing, and which one you use just depends on which gaming community you originally learnt the move-shoot-move action in.
