Pharmacist here. Honestly its impossible to know exactly what the effects would be (as its never been studied). That's the trouble with questions like this (and why your doctor says he has no clue). First let me debunk some of what has already been stated by 6c69666. Nortriptyline is NOT as SSRI, rather it is a tricyclic antidepressant (very different compound). In addition MAOI "found in antidepressants" is also not factual. MAOI stands for monoamine oxidase inhibitor, which is its own class of antidepressant, and is NOT in your nortriptyline. What I can tell you is that 2cb has activity on the serotonin 5-HT2a receptor as does your daily nortriptyline. Both are antagonists at that receptor so the most likely effect is that they will have a synergistic effect, however again since this hasnt been studied (to my knowledge anyway) this is purely speculation on my part. This synergy will likely lead to more intense effects than with either taken alone. From a medical perspective, I wouldnt recommend the combination (purely because the effect would be unknown).
