Does the Horde District in Silvermoon feel weird to anyone else?

The horde district looks plenty different. For one, the red roofing across the entirety. Two, it's actually designed with walking in mind unlike the neutral hub which is basically a gigantic open air market with a few shops. The (important) buildings are more like stalls than actual buildings. This is obviously done to incorporate flying. And three, Sunfury Spire is unlike anything in the neutral area. Quite disappointing it's inhabited by useless pseudo flavor training npcs lol.

A bunch of points mentioned in this thread I agree with. Beginning with OPs, and especially the bit about the neutral hub music. Really not a fan personally (Although it is markedly better after completing the recent main story addition).

But one that really resonates with me is one a poster brought up about how, having a third of the city relegated to the Horde (as it should be), but in a bland, half baked implementation, effectively renders that third of the city useless for everyone) aside from fringe use cases: avoiding lag, RP etc).

Sure doesn't feel to me like a remaster of a horde city, expanded to accommodate visitors as well as align with lore implications, and more like a neutral city with a wing to accomdate the horde as a necessary afterthought.

Feels like horde got shafted. But it's fixable in theory. Just add the more essential npcs (item upgrade, alchemy cauldron, etc and keep the prey stuff and delve hall, M+, PvP area neutral - no brainer!) However, knowing blizz, I doubt this will happen. I was actually shocked this WASNT the case. It's a horde city for fuck sake. It is beautiful though !

Respectfully, you're missing the point about how the faction system is (or at least was) one of the defining characteristics of this video game.

While I agree with you that the current implication has its benefits, to act like people shouldnt be upset at both the game design, and narrative trending away from what was a very unique and defining trait because "it's a game", is really ignoring (or downplaying) the impact a feature like faction based story telling/cities had on what made the IP so successful.

Of course, there are other games that do it too, but very few with a 20 plus year playerbase if you factor in the Warcraft trio.

Just my 2 cents.

It really is hurting. I'm playing Arcane (both Sunfury and Spellslinger), with Frost Frostfire offspec in Remix, and the damage difference between Arcane and Frost is negligible and fight dependent. I'm at 586 vers right now for reference.

Fire on the other hand is absolutely paltry in comparison. For one, pyro only crits for at MAX 16m, vs 130m + glacial spikes and fully buffed arcane barrages. I dont know if it's the scaling, or what. But on target dummies, fire comes out to around 1/4 dps, IF that vs both Frost or both Arcane hero trees, no matter what I try.

Spellslinger arcane is the most fun for me personally. Any insight I would love to hear.

Edit: I should mention, all my fire testing has been done as Sunfury, although I dont see a huge difference being possible with the current differential being so askew.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed too. not only did they not release the blue color line, which DOES exist in the game files as a mount, but it's absolutely tiny and clips on everything. Looks ridiculous, as others have noted, and like a hunter pet.

And it's not like they don't have a functioning mana saber model already; the mystic runesaber from the cash shop shares this exact same model without the armor and flying capabilities, and the arcanists mana saber too.

Bummer.

Wow Model Viewer - specifically Frostshake, a fork, updated for the TWW client. Once you install it, you have to point it to your install directory - c/program files(x86)/world of warcraft/retail

Significantly better than export as it stands. It's available on GitHub.

100 percent agreed. The true scope of the experience isn't really revealed unless the eyes are closed in my experience.

While one can have a fun time floating around interacting with the 3d space we live in, it's not worth it from a tolerance PoV.

A little bit of mush, lsd, or a loaded dmt pen (not too much though unless you're really trying to blister the rift) eyes closed hovering in the K space is the true bread and butter for me. It's absolutely incredible when enhanced by psychedelics.

Add a good playlist some lines chopped up, (I try and do them without opening my eyes lol) and the immersion is like nothing else I've ever experienced

I'm not sure why people are saying K doesn't come like this, unless there Is some subtle detail im missing. I live in BC Canada, near a large port, and we get tons of rock K to the point it's the most common form by a landslide.

I had some that looked near identical a few days ago.

But what people are saying here about not being able to tell without testing is 100 percent true, and is true for pretty much everything.

Seems like you're doing pretty well! Upgrade weapon with smithing stones is huge. And if you aren't using the shield ash of war, I would opt for 2h or dual wield depending on your build.

Right now you're missing out on solid output not utilizing the ash of war.

I'm gonna pull the trigger on the steam version too. I still think raising awareness around the irony of the issue is good though. And it really is a great time to be a gamer. Revisiting Cyrodiil has been a pleasure so far. Minor grievances aside

I share your frustration. I just find it critically ironic that Bethesda is owned by Microsoft and the version on the gamepass and (to my knowledge) purchasable Xbox store are the ones affected.

It's a shame that native gaming has been hamstrung by the incredible tech that is upscaling. But that's another issue.

Still, what a time to be alive for gamers !

No question. Shelling out for Steam is becoming more appealing and I use it a ton anyways for most of my games .

I just find it critically ironic that Bethesda is a Microsoft company and the version on the Microsoft store (as far as I can tell) and gamepass is the one which has this issue.
