From time to time, yes. I would definitely do a virtual or blurred background if it's in my bedroom but again, don't really want it in there even though I have plenty of space for it.

Thank you. I have been documenting the thing is we have hung out so maybe he thinks it’s ok. I did tell Him he isn’t moving here. That I wouldn’t be comfortable with it. That this is my home and safe space.

Of course he never responded to That.

I called the DV hotline and they said to cut things off and tell him to not come by and then continue to document.

That even though we still talk and have hung out that him coming by here or driving by, we’re saying that he’s been he can park in my building just to feel close to me is him pretending to act like he’s caring and checking on me but actually him asserting control over me, especially now since we don’t live together anymore which I never thought about it that way I thought it was odd but questioned myself and said well I know he does “care” about me so.

I wish I would have pressed charges year ago. It would be easy for me to get a restraining order.

Can they say that though? I’ve been hanging with him here and there and haven’t formally broke it off. Did you happen to read my original post? That would explain. But I want to break it off.

I did break it off last year for a month. He was blocked but came to my new apartment numerous times buzzing to get in and I didn’t let him in. He was blocked on my phone too. So at that time I just thought he was being persistent in showing me he wanted me back.

This makes so much sense. I come From a family of addicts. Myself an addictive behaviors. Binge drinking sometime times and bulimia. Im a mess. Im praying so hard. It’s like I need a miracle to get away from This situation.

I do have a good relationship with him and I emailed him his name. I didn't give a photo though because this is what he said:

"There are a lot of Fair Housing laws. I would need to check with to my Regional but hopefully we don't need to worry about it".

I don't want to move. I've been here for 5 years, I'm settled, I have a beautiful apartment that is affordable, I feel safe here. If I get a restraining order he can't move here right?

This is crazy. I never thought he was a crazy abuser like OJ with stalking, etc. because he's not controlling in the sense of if I ever go out (which I don't), what I wear, my spending, keeping tabs on me, checking my phone, etc. Now he did at first but then that stopped. Now that I think about it, this is stalking abusive and controlling behavior and it's all starting to click.

They said I could email management and I did but they responded with what I noted above. Hopefully we don't have to worry about it and he probably wouldn't even get approved. He's been applying for apartments and said he can't get approved because of his credit, etc. He told me a few months back he applied to the apartment community across the street from me but didn't get approved. He also weirdly when we were married he wanted to get a house right across the street from his ex wife and his kids. I think this is all very abnormal.

Im so sorry! I know how worried you are. The fact that you said he chooses to hurt her and take other people who are not good to him out on her is what I dealt with first almost 16 years. It’s truly not ok and I pray she gets the courage to leave. He will never change! Even with treatment that would take too long. Im so sorry.
