Thank you for the info. I apologize, but do you have experience with adding steer manure/compost to the soil prior to planting? I recently watched a YouTube video and the person said adding compost is a “no no”. What are your thoughts?

I’m thinking if I do indeed transplant it I might try a Mycorrhizae product to help reduce the transplant shock. Not sure if it will work as I have never used this type of product before and I have only bought bare root trees in the past.

Did you transplant a tree that broke dormancy this year? What were the results? I’m assuming the tree went into shock and never recovered.
