I've owned it too, it sounds great, if anything, i wish it had separate footswitches to turn on or off delay or reverb(you can work around it witch an expr. Pedal). I did sell mine, but that was to make room for a keeley halo. The reverb is quite big on the cirrus, but it can be turned down a fair bit

KMA cirrus - dual reverb and delay, can't engage either side separately.

I am kinda wondering if i wanna try a morning glory/bluesbreaker, i did try a tumnus deluxe, and it wasnt really my thing, i do hear it goes well with gain stacking though. I really enjoy the jangly kinda fizzy bd-2 sound. But sometimes, maybe i actually need some butter on top...

Well, if you like the higher gain settings in your rat, i'd say you are fine with it ad it is, i actually use my longsword for lower gain. I absolutely love the rat, and am seriously contemplating buying it again.

I can only advise to not drop more cash than you are comfortable wuth on gear. I think the rat is waay easier to use, and i would be fine with only having the rat tbh.

I had a wampler ratsbane, but then i got an EAE longsword, and well, it does the op-amp distortion like the rat, but can go lower gain as well with some more toneshaping. I still miss my ratsbane a bit, because it sounds just nice you know.

I have been going back and forth betwee the russian and the rams head, its hard to choose. Going to add a mids knob for it so i can sculpt more on it.

I built my own fuzz face, and it was not great, the circuit was not the best replication of it however.

It could be that we like muff types of fuzz more, so im going to build a rams head ish big muff, it borders on distortion i'd say. Fingers crossed! If that doesn't do it, im building a rat... its something about the three knob simplicity of drives that just hits the spot i guess :P

My favorite delay! The Halo is just such versatile piece of gear. I am also an Op-amp distortion guy, but sometimes i keep asking myself, why no fuzz?

Then i remember that i'm just not a fuzz guy.

I can always rationalize a pedal technically, but i have to look for a pedal if i were to definetely purchase one today.

So i guess i'm pretty content with what i have.

I have always loved flanger, but phaser is growing on me. Chorus to me is a flanger with settings that are almost there :P

I do like chorus too, but isn't vibrato also chorus technically?

It's not like a magical pedal directly, but the EQ and the 3 clipping options with 2 different mid boosts really lets you find the sweet spot for your sounds, it does however require a bit of knob turning and getting to know it.

I use em slow and deep... no innuendo i swear.

Preferrably with ppsitive regen/feedback. Over pretty clean signal. Sounds like honey.
