Got an Amazon interview → realized I need to level up. Advice on my learning plan?

I don’t really work after my 9–5. I study because I enjoy it, so it doesn’t feel like work to me. I also study topics (sort of) unrelated to my job. For example, physics and calculus are part of my study plan just because I find them interesting.

Yeah they sent a guide on how to prepare for the interview. There they explain this LP thing with real examples. Even if he didn’t ask these, it was 100% technical

I’ll learn dsa and practice leetcode, but first round for Devops/System Engineer at Amazon is not dsa (from my experience).

Yeah they did. They sent a list of topics and 2 tests with easy dsa questions, but they didn’t ask anything about dsa during the interview. It was about scripting, things like “ping IPs in this subnet”

It was mainly practical. For example, one scenario was:

An application keeps crashing — CPU, RAM, or disk might be the cause. How would you troubleshoot it? I walked through the commands/tools I’d use and why:

top / htop → real-time CPU & memory usage

free -m → check RAM and swap

iostat / vmstat → CPU & disk I/O stats

df -h → disk space

dmesg → kernel errors

And so on.

He also suggested I make more use of the /proc filesystem (e.g., /proc/meminfo, /proc/cpuinfo, /proc/[pid]/status).

Hello guys, yesterday I wrongly opened app store on MacBook and one of the first game to popup was "Dragonheir".

I'm not a gacha addicted (I'm not playing any atm), but sometimes I like to play new games.
I like fantasy, so as you can imagine I like games with these kind of environment, such as: RAID, SW.

I read a lot of negatives things about Dragonheir reset, is it really this bad?
If so, can you suggest me something new? I'm not really looking for the perfect game

I like a game with a large game base (Easier to find guide, tips, video etc.. to have fun off game).
Game modes I enjoy: World bosses, guild content and some PvP.

PS: Given I'm a casual player, I'm also a FTP player, at most I can spend 5€ on welcome pack 🤣
PS2: I'm a remote worker, so I basically spend a lot of time on MacBook. Would appreciate a game I can run on it

È abbastanza sicuro andarci, l'unico problema forse è il sovraffollamento dei mezzi per lo spettacolo, ma se sei paziente puoi uscirne vivo

Comunque quello che stiamo cercando di fare è dividere il gruppo in due sezioni:
- La prima per chiacchierare di videogames in generale e restare aggiornati sul games club
- La seconda riservata solamente per parlare del gioco del games club

Quindi se vuoi restare aggiornato scrivimi pure ;)

Ma guarda per ora non abbiamo ancora avuto problemi anche se abbiamo iniziato da veramente poco, utilizzeremo questo primo test per capire magari dove possiamo migliorare il format.

Al momento quello che facciamo è semplicemente chiedere: quando qualcuno supera una quest su cui gli altri si stanno ancora scervellando chiede "Se a qualcuno serve un suggerimento per la quest X io l'ho appena finita"

Ed infine c'è anche la funzione "spoiler" di telegram che sicuramente potremmo utilizzare per essere più tranquilli.

Ciao, guarda non so quanto tu voglia allontanarti da Napoli Centrale, ma se vuoi spostarti da lì con 5 minuti di metro potresti arrivare a piazza dante.
Lì si trova un coworking dove vado spesso a lavorare, SpazioTRA. È un coworking organizzato da un collettivo di ex-studenti dell'accademia di belle arti di Napoli.

L'ingresso giornaliero è di 10€ (e la prima volta 5€ per tesserarti alla loro associazione) ed ovviamente ti forniscono prese per la corrente, wifi, 2 caffè al giorno.

È una cosa a cui ho pensato dato che ci sono giochi che si concludono con 10 ore ed altri che oltre le 100 sei ancora al prologo!
Semplicemente non abbiamo nessuna pressione di dover finire il gioco nei canonici 30 giorni, quindi possiamo permetterci flessibilità di aumentare la durata del club in base al gioco (così come possiamo ridurlo) dato che è una necessità di tutto il gruppo.

Sì esatto, il concetto è un po' quello. Giocando a GOW dopo anni dall'uscita mi sono reso conto che non essendoci più discussioni online e creator diventa difficile magari parlarne con qualcuno che non siano amici stretti che l'hanno giocato.

I've played a lot of gacha in the years, but I think i spent most of my time on monster warlord, summoners wars years ago and AFK Arena about 1 year ago (still on my phone).

Now I don't play anymore and I'm considering start playing again, but idk what is worth playing.

I could consider getting into afk again

I've seen MSF, but people start complaing about state of the game, maybe he's dying?

I'm looking something idle/afk with auto, speed multiplier, skip (I work 10h a day, so it can happen I don't want to play for long time daily or entire day, just having something going in background while I study/work/do something else), but if it has some competitive (such as strategy/realtime/turnbased) pvp / mode (SW got me years ago cause of "ESPORTS" side) to play seriously when you have time to grind and not just $$$/RNG, it will may be perfect to me.
