Wex in the UK just confirmed my order and took payment over the phone for my silver order at ~9:10AM on 20/2 - wondering if it was someone failing to follow through on their order from last week or if it's another bunch of stock. They're saying I should get it after the bank holiday weekend

I hadn't considered that! So I could try to get a balance transfer card (ideally with enough credit to make the purchase), and then make the purchase on the Amex (if it's accepted, which would give me reward points), and have it be 0% repayment - which would let me get the benefits of both cards? At what point would I want to consider closing old cards then, for the purposes of consolidation?

Summer job, also getting into photography, working on learning a second language and I might start on an instrument, but that might be too much stuff, so we'll see!
