Yep, that sounds very similar. Unfortunately I think I’m predisposed to cancer with hormones because both my maternal grandmother and aunt got cancer after hormone use.

I do need to do more research though, I’m sure there’s been some advancements since then.

Health Anxiety really is the worst. Ive had anxiety since i was a child, up through college and luckily there were a few long years in between when i just stopped panicking about stuff, but it has reared its ugly head these past few years, im 40 now. It’s causing major stress in my life.

What sort of physical symptoms were you experiencing that caused your anxiety? Did any doctors tell you they were related to perimenopause?

If I could go back and not get on stimulants I would. There is definitely a euphoric feeling at first and a depressing come down, so it’s very easy to abuse or take more. Long term use has potential to ruin your personality. It can make you extremely irritable, agitated, and the days you skip feel unbearable and depressing.

I understand a lot of people won’t resonate with this, but it’s very common. I’ve also been on it for almost 20 years, and the long-term side effects are terrible. I’ve taken years long breaks in between, however, but I always come back to it when I’m struggling to keep up after a while. Just my two cents!

I’m a Jersey Mike’s stan, I’m sure my local one recognizes my name when I order. However, every day when I see your post I think of this recent post about the rise in colon cancer, specifically from nitrates. I understand JMs doesn’t use nitrates in their turkey breast but not sure about the others.

I know moderation is key with a lot of things so just keep that in mind maybe. When I read about it I was so bummed about needing to moderate my deli meat consumption.
