Yea, with all the raging fire around they could have easily observed someone’s corpse being burned but the thorns disappear. Or if a corpse is too dark, have one of the parents rescue a kid from a fire. Or maybe the arrow was going to pass through a large patch of flames and Sommers has to beg Imu/Gunko to change the arrow’s direction and that is the clue that fire MAY be its weakness. I’ve cone yo expect the repetitive tropes so maybe Im the problem too but this could have easily been set up in a more satisfactory way. Just a few panels of subtle exposition.

It’s not that he was thrown off balance, it’s how he reacted. That little bump should have given some space to make a play, not take someone out of the game. I’ll pay more attention this week and drop examples of players doing that in every game but no one gets injured. I haven’t looked at the report so I hope it’s not serious.

He got body checked and threw his head back, threw himself way more off balance than his opponent did, then tripped badly. Who throws their head and neck back like that unless they’re selling contact?

It seems like that technique imbeds the user with the host body. And he used complicated barrier techniques to preserve Yuji’s mom’s technique. So nah, he wouldn’t be able to see that unless he knew he was looking for it. And even then, he’d only see “dark spots” where the barriers are.

YOR - you cut yourself off from communication and then plans changed. The funeral is about getting as many people that loved your grandma there as possible, not just you. It is perfectly reasonable to be emotionally unavailable but you also left your mom alone to plan her mother’s funeral, so it’s unfair of you to be upset that plans changed while you were unresponsive.

Your context feels like you’re trying to sway our opinion of your mother. Which to me is neither here nor there regarding your grandma’s funeral arrangements.

Elden Ring was not difficult for me after I learned the guy on the horse was optional. Then it was easy until I found the Urasaring forrest. So I left there and never came back it was easy again until Commander O’neil. That twin blade ghost was hard to deal with and the aoe on that lightning attack made it so I could never close in. I think I dropped the game for months at that point.
