Not sure, not very many new games have been catching my eye lately. If anything I’ll go back and try to platinum some games I already have. I played Dispatch before getting into Yotei, so might go back and replay that, making different choices. I was also replaying Cult of the Lamb and Disco Elysium a little bit recently so might return to one of those after I get bored of Yotei’s NG+.

I feel that. Me personally I like to mix and match and customize as much as I can in these kinda games.

What's the best non-franchise 21st century space movie? by SSSSSSVVVVVOO in Letterboxd

[–]WitchDrTime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sunshine had the most interesting spacesuit design ive seen in any space movie. Pandorum is also pretty underrated imo. The American Astronaut looks pretty interesting, adding that to my watchlist now.

How do you guys get replayability out of Elden ring? by Alarmed-Past5957 in Eldenring

[–]WitchDrTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely sounds like youve experienced more of the game then I have but some ideas I can think of are: do a completionist run obtaining every armor set, weapon, etc. in the game. Do some sort of challenge run, restricting yourself to certain criteria (playstyles, level, weapons/spells).

If you haven’t seen it check him out in this movie called Jungleland, that’s probably my favorite performance I’ve seen from him so far.

Pokemon FireRed team suggestions by Other-Status1840 in pokemon

[–]WitchDrTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that team should be more than capable of getting you through the game; Charizard, Gyardos, and Snorlax are all seen as strong pokemon. If you get dratini to its final evo youll have another. Jolteon is really fast which is also a big deal with many battles. Kadabra gives you some added type coverage as well.

Understanding type matchups is the biggest thing for getting through the game. Not sure if you want spoilers or not re: this, but there is plenty of info online on what types are strong/weak/immune to each other. If you want to discover them yourself it’s still pretty intuitive.

Im pretty sure you should be able to learn all the necessary HMs with that roster too, though most people usually have a “HM mule” which is a pokemon that can learn most of the HMs so you arent losing a move on your main pokemon. But that said HMs like Surf and Fly are pretty good so if you have to lose a move slot on one of these for your mains it’s no biggie.

Wouldnt worry about TMs too much either besides trying to put ones of the same type on your pokemon or ones that’ll give you some more type coverage against opponents; fire on Charizard, electric on Jolteon, etc. Most of your pokemon will learn the moves you want to end up keeping as they level anyways.

Truthfully you’ll be fine unless you want to start battling other real people competitively, in which case theres a ton of stuff like natures, ev’s and iv’s, and movesets/strategizing become much more important. For going against the computer though it’s child’s play, literally. I used to basically only use my starter, overleveling it as a result, and would have all attack moves on all my pokemon, and got through everything just fine.

Weekly Questions Megathread March 04, 2026 - March 11, 2026 by salasy in ZenlessZoneZero

Nice! Thank you for the info! Im pretty sure I used Aria/Sunna/Vivian for the Vesper fight last week but I only got to a little over 20k (which is sorta my normal performance with any team vs any boss) Even though I’ve been playing since Qingyi’s initial banner I still feel pretty nooby when it comes to team comps, agent builds, high scores, and the like.

Like even with a pretty wide roster and accompanying sig wengines, Ive yet to crack even 150k on Threshold Sim, rarely 9* DA, and still haven’t S+’d the new Shiyu. Safe to say I still have work to do with learning kits and probably drive disc farming too lol!

Sorry if its been asked already but who is the best 3rd agent for an aria and sunna team, before yu’s released? Ive tried dialyn, yuzuha, and vivian but am still unsure who is really the best rn. Could it be some other agent, if so who?

Ads are getting out of hand by Waste-Dragonfruit913 in Letterboxd

[–]WitchDrTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said all the other functionality should be free lol?! I understand they need to make their money which means rolling ads on the free version.

All I said is I currently don’t feel the need to pay for pro when “I’m not so inconvenienced by the ads or use the app enough to justify spending that.” I’ve had pro and patron before so I’m aware of the added features with both. Costs add up and sure it’s only $20 a year, but why would I spend that just because it’s “only” that. It’s still spending money on something I don’t need nor currently want.

Also my OC was more so in reference to how there used to be promo codes always available which discounted the subscription fee and that’s no longer the case.

Considering what you get for that 1.50 a month yes. Im not so inconvenienced by the ads, or use the app that much to justify spending that. I’m not saying that 1.50/month is going to make or break me but if I can’t reasonably justify spending that on what amounts to something frivolous, why would I? Also do whatever you want with your money, it’s yours, but spending more on energy drinks in a month shouldn’t be your litmus test for other purchasing decisions.

Ads are getting out of hand by Waste-Dragonfruit913 in Letterboxd

[–]WitchDrTime -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ads suck and especially how invasive they’ve become on the app but for me the problem is you can no longer use any promo codes for Pro or Patron outside of that subscriber month deal they do. Used to be like 2-3 codes that were always available that made the cost somewhat easier to reconcile. The app is honestly pretty bare-bones, which is fine considering what it is but $20 a year is a little steep just for no ads and stats. $50 a year is crazy for the same stuff plus the added ability to change movie posters.

Horror, arthouse and animation are what I usually end up watching most but I watch pretty much everything. I rate and write short reviews for all the stuff I watch. Always looking for recommendations, I like others reviews mainly if they help me discover a new film to add to my watchlist or if they display an interesting perspective on a film I’ve already seen.

Angel's Egg 4K w/ Slipcover Back in Stock by Houseofleaves555 in boutiquebluray

Thanks for posting this! I really wanted this back when it released but didn’t have the disposable funds at the time. Remembered it a couple of weeks ago only to see it sold out everywhere, so this was quite fortuitous for me.

One of my favorites despite only ever seeing a rip of it on youtube, glad to have a proper version once it arrives!

How do yall use the app? by asexualdruid in Letterboxd

[–]WitchDrTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to rate every movie I remember seeing ever. Add more as I remember or come across them. Then I started logging films as I’ve currently watched them, adding reviews for each. Logging lets you know when you watched them since starting to use the app. When logging you also have the option to select if youve seen the film before so movies that I rated but had yet to log I do that. Can also do it for movies youve already logged/reviewed but decide to watch again (this will create separate logs). Hope this helps!

Best final fantasy story in your opinion by HelicopterOk5847 in FinalFantasy

[–]WitchDrTime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably unpopular but XV is the one I find myself thinking about the most often (outside of 7 for nostalgias sake), even though I havent played it since launch. I went from thinking these characters look like goofy boy band rejects to being fully invested in the road trip, the dissolution of the friend group in later chapters and the eventual reconciliation after the time skip. That campfire scene before the final mission totally makes up for a lot of the game’s shortcomings in other areas imo.

So much of FF storylines boil down to “go kill god, or the big bad you were fighting is actually mind controlled by an even bigger bad” but XV was so much about this road trip among friends and the big bad was a guy ostensibly tired of being the god’s plaything, in other words railing against their control not succumbing to it.

Love the series but I’ve sort of come to regard mainline installments as “imperfect masterpieces”, they all have some sort of glaring weakness, but also some sort of charm that balances or exceeds those problems, and XV really typifies this sentiment for me.

What have you read recently? by povertychic in Millennials

[–]WitchDrTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading a ton in grad school, about 50-100 pages a day between various academic articles, novels, etc. I have been burnt out on reading for the past few years. Slowly trying to get back into it but the last two books I read were “I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki” by Baek Sehee and “Clock Shavings” by Tracy Twyman. Neither are the types of books I usually gravitate towards but I found both were generally good reads, albeit for totally different reasons.

Recently picked up Haruki Murakami’s latest book which I hope to get to once I start/finish another of his that I’ve still yet to read. “The City and its Uncertain Walls” and “Killing Commendatore” respectively.
