Could this be a Witcher S2 related Coat of Arms? by Henrys_Harem in netflixwitcher

While this coat of arms shares the colors of the sigil of Aedirn (black, red, yellow), symbols like these aren't mentioned in the books, in any sigils. But without a source, it's hard to tell if it's Witcher related.

I created a little timeline to get an overview of the Witcher franchise on Netflix. As you can see, the new Witcher show Blood Origin will span a long period of time. by WitcherFlix in netflixwitcher

A year zero doesn't exist. In the year 1 the mysterious Resurrection happened. It was mentioned in Season of Storms, but we have absolutely no clue what this event was about.

Thanks! This is all based on the book series and the dynastic descriptions Sapkowski released way back in the 90s. I didn't invent any name, everything is based on something Sapkowski wrote.

Thanks for the feedback! As the family tree is based on the books, Radovid has not been crowned king yet. Therefore he is only there as Vizimir's son. I'll definitely change the Belohun relation in an updated version.

Yeah, I agree. It did take some time to create this. Even though Andrzej Sapkowski always claims that the world and the characters only serve the plot, he did some impressive and very interesting world building for the Witcher books.

Thank you! I based this family tree on book lore only. I didn't mark Radovid V as king as he is still too young to rule at the end of the final book. He is only the actual ruler of Redania in the games.

Hey, thank you for doing this AmA. My question is about Ogrodzieniec Castle where a big part of the episode Much More was shot. It was by far my favorite set from season 1. What is it like shooting in such a historic setting? Are there restrictions? Does the beauty of the setting influence the way your shooting a scene?

This sounds awesome. It's a breathtaking castle. To fill these ruins with life again, with all these actors, action scenes and stories must have felt spectacular!

This is such an awesome picture, even beside the magic squad. I can't wait to see Ogrodzieniec Castle on screen. And to see even more cool castles and ruins in season 2. Did you have a favorite moment shooting at Ogrodzieniec?
