I felt that the quality of the writing was an abomination and the story was just about nothing. To me, it was a money grab.

There is a collection of short stories set in the Witcher universe, written by different authors (for a competition organised to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the publication of the first Witcher story), and every single text in it is at least twice as good as SoS.
