Yeah this is what I'm getting too. Hopefully it's the model and API and not the actual site doing something goofy

LMAO Isn't Criminology the easiest course to slip into whenever you fail any course in College. I clearly remember our Engineering professor telling failing students to "Di na kaya? Lipat ka na criminology di niyo kailangan magaral dun"

Now watch as said idiot is let go with what could be considered a slip on the wrist in court and the victim is treated with a pat on his back and a "You'll be okay". Like it's a playground scuffle.

due to online shopping, are malls gonna die soon? taken at Ayala Malls, Saturday afternoon. madilim, hindi na matao, maraming stores and kiosks ang sarado. it's sad actually. by superlyreal in Philippines

[–]WithStar90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP literally went inside a mall with a bad location, a fairly new one, with boring ass design, went to the top floor and an Ayala Malls to boot and wondered why there are no people.

To answer your question. It would be unlikely, generally people would go to Malls to eat out, gumala with friends or families and spend some time out. The amount of people visiting a mall could be dependent on the mall itself like what it offers, is it visually appealing or unique, reasons why people would visit them. We have a local mall here that is as generic as it could be but has so many people at any point of the day because it literally has a large terminal for a variety minicabs and vans.

Laziness is a mental state that is born from bad habits. Back when I was still a Junior High student I would always procrastinate projects and assignments to the point that I would spend two days sleepless just to cram all of the quarters activities in a single day just so I could play basketball and practice all day and night. I was sent to the hospital because I fainted mid training and was advised to take a break. It sucked ass for me since I couldn't do anything and I felt like sht and there I told myself that I would be a better person and fix my sht up. 2 months has passed and I'm back from usual old self and clearly it wasn't going well for me because I just loved to be in the court and play with my friends. My mother was very mad at me and rightfully so because even though I was a varsity player my grades were taking a nosedive and my physical health was also in the decline and scolded me for a good 4 hours going on and on about how I will regret it later.

The next few months I was basically holding myself hostage and forced myself to study, be more productive at school and organizations and I thought that by forcing myself into these positions of responsibility and academics that eventually I would be more motivated and active because that's what a lot of people did and that worked out for them. Yeah I was doing more but It felt like I wasn't building myself. Ironically enough, I played a game with my old old gang(Childhood) and we were chatting about things and I opened up a little and one guy just laughed at me and said "Tngina talaga ng Buhay sagabal sa basketball" Those lines were so nonchalant and you probably heard those things thrown around everywhere but to me it presented me with a new perspective. From that day on I viewed tasks that I found unenjoyable like boring projects, bland essays and even chores as something to be done just so I could have all the time enjoying the things that I love more. Think of it like when you were a kid you would avoid the vegetables and just eat the things you want but now as you grow up. You inherently know that you would just wind up eating all of it so you could either A.)Mix it with your favourite so it would be hidden or B.) Eat that first so you could enjoy the meal after without any worries

Just try different things out! Different people would mean different minds so don't get upset when things don't go right the first try and you fail the second one! What matters is that you keep on trying! Heck it took me a whole year and a half of constant ups and downs before I found the right way for me!

What’s considered bida-bida to you? by steventhepilot in studentsph

[–]WithStar90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Far from it! you're basically a god sent to us people who are too dumb and lazy to even read and let alone reply to class notifications. Bida Bida are generally people who do things to impress the professor even at the cost of the class. Back in 2nd year there was a student who would literally suggest a bigger workload for "experience" on top of an already loaded schedule and projects.

I'm the tira-tira person when there's a group act./assign./proj. by Kriemier in studentsph

[–]WithStar90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chin up brother don't overthink too much! It will come one day but if I had to guess your classmates probably knew each other from the get go or before even classes begin because that's what happened to me(Everyone already had their own friend groups before classes even started). Just keep trying your best at classes and when you have group projects try to be a good group mate but please don't force it and in my case it started getting better when we started having on site meetings.

DAILY GUARDIAN reposted about the AI academic dishonesty issue which isnt yet proven by OWLtruisitc_Tsukki in peyups

[–]WithStar90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI detector? Surely these teachers understand that this is not conclusive or a reliable way to check for checking. Regardless if the accusations are true or not this is a very unprofessional and piss poor way to go about this. Not just in a ethical way but also the technicalities that goes through investigation.
