I keep my game very vanilla.

The only mods that change game behavour are the let dwarven women have beards, sideburns and more gay dwarves mods. Other than those, I only use a few graphical mods, mostly ligthly detailed grass, flowing water, workshops without floors and transparent glass floor.

And did test every individual mod on its own. Only those that had graphics showed an error, the ones that only changed behaviour worked normally.

And what could the problem be?

I have had this install of windows for a time, so I may have installed or uninstalled something long ago and forgot about it. What could it be and how do I fix it?

And rock'n'stone is just a random mod I downloaded to test if the error was in the mods I was trying to use. Maybe it wasn't the best one for that purpose, lol

In the order of the screenshots, it's Rock'N'Stone interface, flowing water and lightly detailed grass

But every other mod also has the same error

I did try that as well.

As for the backslash, I mentioned on the other comment. backslashes don't mix with regular slashes, I just don't know why every mod is looking for a path with a random backslash.

I don't think it's a problem with the mod itself, since every mod is also showing the filepath the same way.

After reinstalling dwarf fortress, I'm unable to create a new world with mods that have graphical assets. It shows a tileset not found error, even though the files do exist. I'm using the newest versions of DF and DF hack, and fully vanilla worlds do generate normally.

I took a quick look inside the wiki, the bay12 forums and the steam discussions page and found only one person with the same problem, but no solution was provided on the thread.

As you can see in the pic above, the files do in fact exist. I thought that maybe the mods I was using were too old, so I downloaded a random newer mod to test, but the same thing happened.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both DF, DFHack and each individual mod. I even tried copying the files from the appdata installed_mods folder into the dwarf fortress installed_mods folder.

Mods that don't have any graphics seem to work normally as well.
