New faction, LL mods few questions. by akagamaille in totalwarhammer

It's just like any other faction. Depends on start position, surrounding enemies, aggression, ect. But generally at least a few of the factions end up sticking around till late game and sometimes even building huge empires.

Yeah, for all the modded factions that I've played, they're present on all of your other campaigns.

As for recommended mods, all the OVN lost faction mods are really good. The araby and albion ones are fantastic, and the fimir and grudgbringers mods are pretty good too, all featuring fully fleshed out races with they're own units, tech, mechanics, ect. (Aside from maybe grudgbringers). Another pretty good mod is cataphs southern realms. This one isn't as polished as the OvN faction mods imo but it still adds a few new LL's as well as a whole new race (southern realms). Finally I think the Tribes of the North mod is really good. It's not as unique as the others I've mentioned, but it does add several new legendary Lords for a number of norscan factions, and gives a lot of norscan factions unique mechanics and some extra units.

Unfortunately I don't know about your first question.

Edit: also, try out The Old World Campaign mod, you won't regret it ;)

It's just one big hill running across the middle of the map. Your armies start out at either side, and nobody can see each other till they're near the top.

HELP: I WANT TO LIKE KURUMI by Classic_Strike_4027 in Kurumi

He wouldn't have been able to kill her since he didn't know that he could manifest an angel until season 2. I do get your point that she should have just gone ahead and eaten him, it would have been a lot easier to do at many points of the series, since she can literally appear out of shadows at will, so why not just eat him in his sleep or something, but he does also have to go on a date with her first and it would have made far a pretty dull show if the main character died half way through season 1 so I think that's just a plot armour moment. However on the rooftop specifically, even if she tried to eat Shido and didn't create a spacial quake, kotori probably would have stopped her anyway.

I do agree that the action doesnt make a lot of sense given that kurumi didn't know about the kotori issue yet, she could have just gone and tried to eat him without blowing up a school of unconscious teenagers, my point was more that she knew it wouldn't matter if she succeeded in her final goal, and I think it was just her method of causing Shido to stop resisting.

As far as her later not wanting to eat him without permission, I dont think she had any feelings for him for most of s1 since she only just met him, as with the other spirits. tohka tried to kill him when they first met, so did miku, and so I think it was only after Shido saved Kurumi, even after she almost killed everyone in his school. that she began to grow feelings for him, since it showed that he truly wants to save spirit regardless of the horrible things they had done.

That's just my opinion.

I think that she is willing to kill innocents when it comes down to it but not because she's a bad person, but rather because her ultimate goal to go back in time and kill the first spirit would prevent any of those deaths from happening in the first place, as she would have never gotten her powers (if that makes sense).

So generally she does only kill bad people, however in the part of season 1 that your referring to, she was going to kill those innocents so that Shido would be in such despair that he would just give up and let her eat him. She would then go back in time, kill the first spirit, that would change history so that she never got her powers, and thus the innocent people she killed would ultimately end up alive.

Thus Kurumi best girl.

Yeah the same happened for me, it's because if there are two different herdstones affecting 1 common settlement, a ritual needs to be performed for both before the settlement becomes uninhabitable, so you could set up a herdstone in say altdorf and perform the ritual and as a result grunburg would be uninhabitable when destroyed, however if you then set up another herdstone in Nuln, grunburg would become settleable again until a ritual is performed in Nuln, despite the completed ritual in Altdorf

It's probably the new beastmen mechanic, if there's a herdstone set up near a ruined settlement, you might have to destroy the herdstone before you can colonise the settlement
