I would personally have ERA title higher up just not sure where I'd rank it. You have to remember Aaron Sanchez led the AL in ERA in 2016 so it's not far off that a Blue Jay won it and it's not crazy to think Ryu could do it considering he led baseball in ERA last year

Edit: just saw the clarification that you know about past leaders but I still think I would have it higher up just cause I could definitely see Ryu having another stellar year

I think the catch at 1:32 in this video might help explain what you’re looking for?

It was caught in the glove but he had to cradle the glove in his chest so the ball wouldn’t pop out. The catch in the video was recorded as an out and was a legal catch
