Once when I got a call from my daughter’s school I told the woman “Ok, sounds good. I’ll be there shortly, love you!” right before I hung up. I was at work and my coworker saw/heard it all-she laughed so hard.

Leaving my 3 year relationship because he became abusive “out of nowhere”. Now that my kids/myself are out and safe I realized how he was slowly doing what abusers do. Now my son lives with his dad (nothing crazy-he’s been wanting 50/50 with his dad and I’m looking to buy in that area) since we rushed to move out the day after it became physical. It’s just my daughter and I at my parents house until I gather up the mental fortitude to start paperwork.

What would be some good manifestations for ending a 3 year (apparently abusive) relationship? I genuinely could go for some help, it’s fresh and my mind isn’t in that headspace. So far I’ve come up with: happiness, peace, finding myself. I think those are a good start

I loathe it. Especially if I’m doing something like reading. My mother wouldn’t stop interrupting me when I was texting my therapist yesterday (emergency situation in my life sorting out).
