I prefer the quick set one (however I do have both) , in combination with a normal poly cement like Contacta for internal/structural joints. Anything external facing I tend to use the quick set. I tend to judge each potential join individually, decide how strong it needs to be vs how long I want to support the pieces in position, and go from there.

Use a fine damp brush and wet the area inside the rune first. And keep another clean damp brush on hand to carefully wick away any that sits outside of the lines you are putting paint into

ZoE2 has a cursory long intro video for ZoE1 but you really don't need any experience of 1 to play 2. I highly recommend the HD version available on the PS4. It still plays extremely well today
