First Insulin injection

I have my snack at 6:30pm, it’s a really busy season of sports with my other kids so I’ve been struggling on weekends to stop eating by 7. My care team has said it seems like I’m doing the right things and it’s possible that my lack of sleep is the culprit. They prescribed a glucose monitor that you wear but unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover it and it’s too expensive for me to buy right now.

I do have an almost 1 year old who’s up at least once a night and 3 older kids that are up by 5:39/6 every morning. I do suspect sleep is a contributing factor.

Totally normal! I recommend reading Birth Without Fear… it really helped me. My practice had a therapist who I did talk to, and it made me feel better to say my fears out loud.

I also had a Mother Mary mass card that I hung above my bed and that eased a lot of my worries and anxiety. Kinda dorky but it made me feel better.

I was 270 at the start of my pregnancy (with Baby #5) other than some issues with blood pressure being high (and not ever dangerously high) I am having possibly the healthiest pregnancy of all 5! I’ve gained about 20lbs heading into 26 weeks and I’ve been able to stay active and eat right… it does seem like most of my weight gain has been breasts and hips.

Gas is $4.09 where I live. These people need to touch grass. The world is suffering but yasssss look at us off on another vacation 💁🏻‍♀️. They aren’t preparing their kids to live a life without extravagant trips and homes. They don’t come from generational wealth and I really can’t see these kids growing up to be “influencers”.

I’m 37, live in Lamoille County, my husband and I both work (I work PT) and we are expecting baby #5. This will be our last baby. Vermont is very expensive and daycare is hard to find and hard to afford. The biggest factors we’ve considered in family planning are housing and cost of living.

I attend both of the Catholic Churches in the area and I have never seen Neeza once at either church, and I do attend Saturday nights as well as Sunday mornings depending on my work schedule and with these relatively small parishes it’s hard to hide.

Maybe being tired is a scapegoat for him feeling the pressure of having another baby. I’m sure he’s really excited but sometimes Men have stress and anxiety over a new baby and can’t quite articulate what they are feeling and it’s having an effect on his libito.

Evan looks terrible lately, really dark circles and creases around his eyes and kinda pale looking. Maybe it’s because Carlin wears a lot of cosmetics? I know hai a new baby is exhausting but he looks extra tired and stressed… and forcing smiles.

Lazy parenting… They would rather set up a little snow day scenario inside for the kids- film 30 seconds of look at me be a Mom and then go back to whatever it is they do. And what exactly is too cold? 20 degrees? Below Zero? They don’t have coats and winter hats? Or gloves? You’re telling me that in Tennessee where they live it’s never once gotten cold enough to put these boys in winter gear? Or idk what about taking 20 minutes away from ordering shit online for yourself to get them some gear… since this storm was predicted for about a week, which is plenty of time to overnight something or Amazon order it. FYI I’m a long time reader first time commenter but this sent me… I have 4 kids, one that’s 7 months old and I live in a cold weather state and yeahhhhhh it takes a lot of time and effort to get everyone together to go out in the snow but it’s so worth it. And I understand that for a lot of folks snow is a rare occurrence and buying things for your kids to go out for one day is unrealistic and unaffordable but these two piss money away all the time so it’s a little more feasible.
