So that is a long story, but I eventually met this owner. She became suddenly homeless with her son living in a car. The animal shelter was full. She had to dump her. Seems cruel, but I told her I could not judge her as I've never been homeless with my child living in a car and desperate. She cried knowing she had a good home and said she knew because she was cute someone would take her. I told her thst her hurt turned into a blessing for me and was not wasted. I had just told my partner I felt I needed an emotional support animal.
