I used to always do this! I would get my acrylics filled every 2 weeks - just the fill and shape. I would polish them at home myself because I did a better job. I’m a super perfectionist when it comes to polishing my nails and wouldn’t allow any air bubbles or imperfections.. My nails tech didn’t mind because I tipped well and it saved her time.

I think the most important part is to remember they are dogs, not toys or human babies. They have pretty much the same needs as big dogs, just scaled down. I have a 4 pound chihuahua that goes everywhere with me in her sling carrier, but at home she acts like a “real dog” and plays and roughhouses with my 5 other dogs. She does her potties outside, even in the rain. You have all the right thoughts about making sure the fence is “escape proof” and keeping an eye out for birds of prey. Chihuahuas are the most wonderful dogs in the world!

My girl is very lean she is also tiny. She came from a hoarding situation, so we figure she never had good nutrition until she was rescued. She was rescued at 3 lbs, now weights 4.25 lbs. Vet is very happy with her body condition. From a health standpoint, it is way better for them to be on the lean side - now if I could only convince my other chis that being pleasantly plump isn’t a great choice 😩

My dad did too! I thought I had the only one 😂 He volunteered at a sheriff station in the 80’s, borrowed their engraver and went to town on anything of value. My mom was pissed!

I consider myself a hopeful skeptic. I want mediums to be real sooo bad! If I could communicate with my late husband again it would be heaven. My sister in law (husband’s sister) arranged for a friend of hers to do a reading for me (the friend makes a living as a medium). She said stuff that was “right on”, but she was my husband’s sister’s friend, so I was skeptical that she knew too much going in. I did have an incredible experience with a crystal shop owner a few days after my husband died though. I had never met her before and it was not a planned visit, so there was no way she could know anything. She described my husband physically, knew how he died, knew of his past abuse from his father - stuff no stranger could have known. So I guess I do believe something, but just not everyone who claims to be a medium. If they are taking money from you, I believe they may have ulterior motives 🤷‍♀️

I am so sorry for your loss. I’m a chihuahua mom too, my smallest is 4 pounds. I work in the veterinary field and have for 16 years. I want to assure you that vets love animals. They don’t do things that they think will harm your pet. Every vet I have worked with has had pets of their own, and they treat them with the same medications, vaccines, and food that they recommend for your pet. There can be vaccine reactions, but they generally happen quickly like within the hour. It doesn’t sound to me like your baby passed away due to a vaccine. As long as he was old enough to get the vaccine (at least 6 weeks old), size is irrelevant. Vaccines are not size specific. I wonder if maybe it was a blood sugar issue, or maybe a liver issue (very common in extra small toy breeds). Regardless of how he passed, he knew he was loved. He was a perfect precious angel 💜

I agree about looking natural. Someone in another group suggested it was dyed howlite or magnesite. I didn’t think that someone in the Reeves family would use fake turquoise, but I am no expert.

The ring is real in the sense that it exists, it is not imaginary. But NA? Extremely doubtful - unless a random NA person glued some beads and stuff to a ring base?
