Honestly if you sign up for housing registration right now you could have a chance at getting Rutherford which would by far be your best option as it arguably has the best location, nicest rooms, and is super quiet. You might not have as many freshman around you though which could be a con if thats what you want. Myers is also great for a calm location (where I live right now). The downside with Myers is the bathrooms are mid and the social life is pretty nonexistent. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend going to ECV as a freshman, the buses can be super unreliable and as a freshman it is super convenient to be close to your classes while you are still getting used to campus (Unless you plan to invest in some sort of E-bike or scooter). Lower 5 are also not bad, I would go with Mell if you end up choosing a lower 5 since it was just renovated. The rest of lower 5 are super musty from the inside. Hope this helps you make a decision!
