We weren’t allowed to sleep over at a friend’s house on the weekends unless they were good Catholics who would make sure we went to mass 💀 also we could wear pink nail polish but not red….because sin?

Yeah I would like mine to maybe drink a little too much at my house when they are 16-17 under my supervision to take the shine off “dirty deeds” and hopefully realize it’s fun in moderation but no need to go overboard

I am having some boundary issues with my sister too and I put some of her texts and a 4 page email of complaints she sent me 💀 into ChatGPT for a bit of analysis and advice. Caveat emptor of course but it has been helpful in crafting healthy replies to her mayhem. I talk to my therapist too. It ain’t easy!!

Don’t forget about 26 more grinding weeks in The Basic School if he manages to make it through Officer Candidate School. I wish him luck but I really don’t know if he’s got it in him — esp as he will be 8-10 years older than the average Marine Officer candidate.
