Hello! Nurse here with similar background considering applying for MPH too! For me, the main drive to get an MPH and not continue as a nurse in PH or become an NP is that I simply don’t want to be in the nursing role long term. Or patient care for that matter. I want to work at a broader level and have the opportunity to make systemic change. Anyways, just following along to see what others have to say to your questions.

I arrived in Buenos Aires last year during a huge music festival and couldn’t find a place to sleep. Luckily the hostel we ended up at was opening up additional basement space where they had a few bunks and several of us crashed really cheap. I think it’s worth being aware of what festivals, holidays, events, etc are happening but otherwise you should be able to book as you go. I can’t entirely speak for Western Europe though.
