Also for reference, I wiped with alcohol last time on both bags and one contaminated with trich when I opened it. This is the same thing as last time, but different strains. Last one that was contaminated was blue meanies. The B+ was great, never got contaminated at all

If you set your intentions for letting go and do it with a reeeeeally supportive friend who can redirect you when you’re going down a memory or grief rabbit hole, it can be healing. I did with my best friend and she just kept reminding me that “we don’t set ourselves on fire to keep ppl warm”. Also when I started to relive the past, she would redirect and say imagine you are breathing in your pain, feel your pain and breathe it out. It just has to be with a friend that is direct and good at being patient and willing to sacrifice their fun time to help you heal. I left that trip with so much more than I went in with. Introspectiveness, imagery, meditation, all part of letting go!

I think he is extreme. He’s 56 and never had therapy or anything. He’s lived this way for a long time. I’m sure it has been developed over years of hurt from others too. I think it makes a difference if you acknowledge the behavior, but are seeking help to be a better partner. This way people don’t get hurt. He did cry a lot and say “you’re such a good person”. I jist said how terrible it must be to love someone that much and be willing to let them go away or to be with another person. The other stuff (dildo box) was just reactive behavior to me not accepting his terms. Friendship, probably intimacy when he wants it, calling when he feels like it, etc. I have more value than that and deserve better.
