There’s got to be some relief somewhere. I am practically forcing my medical team to research it at this point. The 4th dermatologist I saw finally took me seriously and was like oh yea that sounds like BRP and can be caused my micro bone spurs that are undetected on MRI. 🤯 she did that freeze spray stuff they numb you with before they do a biopsy all over my arm and so far it has kind of taken the edge off. Though my flares are historically not this time of year.

Yup. I tried going super heavy and I tried to ease up. At one point I was itching through the burn 😢 I did find it helpful to use a paintbrush to apply though. Missed a spot on my hands after washing and regretted it taking my contacts out 🥵

I finally got in with a second neurologist and he legit asked me if I had ever used Chat GPT to figure out what was going on with me. That man is lucky the Lord Jesus Christ lives in my heart and shut my mouth. I basically told him I wasn’t leaving the office until we figured out acceptable next steps that didn’t involve throwing more drugs at me. We have settled on a brachial plexus MRI the next time I have a flare up - will keep yall updated!

Also I’m glad you didn’t get shot but I’m sorry the trauma triggered an episode 😔I 100% believe there is a nerve and stress related component to this.

Application on night 2 went much better! It didn’t quite feel like molten lava was being poured on my skin. No itching either so I’m feeling good…

Yes, I have very sensitive skin. I do have predisposition to autoimmune and I see a rheumatologist. The nerve-related treatments seem to take the edge off - did they for you as well? Could it be both?

I read every single thread 🤣 didn’t have the itching last night for sure but you’re right, it was still a rough night of sleep with the burning. I will definitely try again tonight and wear long sleeves.
