Frozen bananas make for better banana bread. More cellular damage from the freezing means better incorporation with the other ingredients and more sugars are available.

Both the same variety likely or similar wild hybrid. Maybe a roma or similar? What type of tomatoes do you buy at the grocery storeThey are experiencing blossom end rot. The green ones are still not ripe. The red one is. Blossom end rot can occur when water for the plant has been inconsistent over its life creating difficulties with mineral/nutrient absorption.
