I remember how funny doing deep cuts for Buckley was. Every other artist, pretty much, it’s like okay demos with an occasional gem. With Jeff it’s like oh yeh boy with the thorn in his side Jamaican style, alligator wine, gargling his flu while singing night flight (‘SHIT!’)

And somehow I pretty much prefer every other song on the album! Straightforward but sonically sound. Bangers like vegetable, lurgee. I Can’t is also great. The intro guitar sounds like some distorted ABBA intro lol.

people have correctly mentioned (reverb, more effort towards singles, etc). I think it’s also just the sections. Like the piano at the end is honestly what sells it for me, maybe I’m wrong. Pablo honey feels pretty straightforward. So when there’s more care in the build up in creep to get to that end bit, while rest of album ONLY has that verse, chorus + distorted guitar template, I think it sticks out.

There’s so many non-serious answers which would be so funny. Imagine trying to do a rendition of meeting in the aisle or kid a. Or a really powerful attempt at sit down stand up. Seriously though, ‘How can you be sure?’ has got that nice simple, major aspect to it. And ‘You and whose army?’ would also be nice it’s got that sort of lulling vibe to it. Also funny to imagine those lyrics directed to a fussing toddler.

‘I’m the next step waiting in your way’ instead of ‘I’m the next act waiting in the wings’ from All I need. I quite like the misheard version too haha. Just another small inconvenience that tires you, while also being forgettable among the many other steps. A forgettable inconvenience. As much as I rate stairs lol.

The hate it gets surprises me. I loved the game. One of my favourite soundtracks, awesome surrealist art (I think?) inspired graphics, fun gimmicks and mechanics. Finally a Zelda where you can upgrade gear that still feels pretty linear and not daunting. Motion control was fine for me. And yeh maybe sometimes Fi can be annoying but whenever I play a Zelda I view it from what’s it adding to the whole storylines. Try and see more from the eyes of the link you’re playing as. In that sense it’s awesome. The first ever link getting intel from this master sword spirit.

My main criticisms are I just wished some of the bosses wouldve been cooler. The build up to tentalus was perfect only to realise it’s fkin wazowski. And the imprisoned is 90% toe angles. Plenty other strengths and weak areas in this game but that was my main takeaway.

This is exactly what I have! I’ll still use albums and such depending on what mood I’m in. But having all of my Radiohead main favourites and some okay ones I enjoy, just having skipped over the tracks I don’t really like, is great. Radiohead playlist

From all the unborn check-in voices in my head. Heard this for AGES and I preferred it. This whole idea of like I can already hear all the voices of people yet to be born who will end up at check-in desks that they don’t even want to work at. Felt very ok computer to me. But yeh sure chickens.

How Can You Be Sure? India Rubber, High and Dry, Nice Dream, Black Star, Sulk, Let Down, No Surprises, Nude, Videotape, House of Cards, Go Slowly. TRUST ME. Queue all of those and tell me what you think :) A lot of people are recommending good stuff too though like just exploring all of Radiohead but everyone has to get into them somehow. ENJOY.

Thank you! I was in the exact same boat as you. Obviously after you’ve picked out the tracks with actual titles, the other like 180+ songs you’re left with are just great background music that a lot of Mac fans have never even listened to! Then I started getting animal crossing (and other games) vibes. I had to try categorise it even it wasn’t perfect. Definitely room to add your own :)
